Exceptional value for money given the screen size and quality.
Wonderful screen, clear, good size, lovely images, and I love that you can change from landscape to portrait. Easy to move around if needed and lots of ports for charging and connections.

Brilliant monitor!
Huge step up from my previous monitor. Colours are very very good and accurate!! The speakers aren't great but I won't be using them anyway. It's super useful being able to connect to my laptop and display on the monitor with only 1 USB-C cable rather than a big display port cable! The height adjustment is very useful too and the 90° rotation can be convenient too though I'm yet to use it. The brightness is super bright when in standard mode (default) but when switching to sRGB and the other modes it reduces brightness to about 50% which is still good and I assume necessary for accurate viewing or things would be too bright etc. It's a great monitor and definitely something to look into if you are a photographer like me, or have any interest in other creative things

Great quality as expected from Asus
Beautiful screen! I got this screen for photo editing and I'm very pleased with it. The 4k resolution is amazing and the colors are fantastic. The 27" size is good and it's come well calibrated out of the box. I know it's not supposed to be for gaming but I've also used it for the occasional game and it performed well enough for me. Love Asus products and this didn't disappoint. Planning on adding a second Asus gaming monitor at some point just to finish off my setup.

Excellent 27" 4K monitor for photo, video and everyday work
I bought the ASUS ProArt PA279CV as a main monitor for both photo/video editing and general work, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. The 27" 4K panel is very sharp, so text looks crisp and detailed, and photos and videos have a real “finished” look to them. Colours are rich but natural, and straight out of the box it looks far more accurate than a typical office or gaming screen, which is exactly what you want for any kind of creative work. One of the big selling points for me was that it’s designed for colour-critical use. It covers 100% sRGB and Rec.709 and comes factory-calibrated and Calman Verified, with a quoted ΔE < 2, so you get proper confidence that what you see on screen will match prints and clients’ devices. The built-in ProArt presets and on-screen controls make it easy to switch between different colour spaces and adjust things like gamma and colour temperature without needing extra software. Connectivity and convenience are also excellent. The USB-C port can carry video, data and power, so with a compatible laptop you can plug in a single cable for display, hub and charging, which really tidies up the desk. There are also DisplayPort, HDMI and a USB hub, so it’s easy to hook up a desktop, laptop and peripherals at the same time. The stand is another strong point: it offers height, tilt, swivel and pivot, so you can get the screen exactly where you want it, including rotating it to portrait for coding or reading long documents. The ergonomics and the flicker-free, low blue-light features help reduce eye strain when you’re in front of it all day. Overall, this is a very well thought-out monitor that balances professional features with everyday usability. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable, colour-accurate 4K display for creative work and productivity.

Fantastic Monitors, Not Great Cables
Almost a year ago, I bought two of these for professional use. Both have performed admirably; the colour and picture quality have been fantastic, and I have very few complaints. The one issue that is holding this back from being a five-star review is the fact that both of the USB-C cables have become extremely unreliable, with one no longer working at all. I've replaced the broken one, but it's still disappointing that these cables haven't lasted a year. I've never had this issue with any other USB-C cables for any devices. Even cheap cables that I carry around all day for my phone will last me upwards of three years. That issue aside, these are still a fantastic purchase and more than worth the money. Especially if they're still doing the Adobe deal by the time you're reading this.

Feature rich monitor
Very pleased with this monitor so far, excellent quality, far better then the LG equivalent in the range. The amount of connections was the decision factor for me, but it has excellent screen, anti glare, USB-C charging pass through, 98% sRGB, factory calibrated screen with certificate, very well built and sturdy, rotating screen which is a game changer when editing. The speakers are ok, I have it hooked up to my Huawei Mate book X Pro so I use its speakers as they're mustard, the menu system is ok, plenty of options for screen output etc. The only thing I'd change, is I wish the screen was a tiny bit brighter, but it is fully adjustable. All in all, very pleased with this monitor, ASUS have a great reputation for a reason, and I'm happy to pay for the quality.

Good screen, poor speakers.
Early days, but as a screen seems to be OK; however the speakers are thin and tinny, definitely need external speakers.

Amazing
The ASUS PA27CV is one of the best monitors I’ve ever added to my editing setup. I ordered it for video and photo work, and right out of the box, the factory calibration was so accurate that after running a full calibration with my Calibrite ColorChecker Display HL, there was virtually no difference. That’s a huge testament to how well ASUS has tuned this display for color-critical workflows. The monitor delivers stunning image quality with rich, natural colors and excellent uniformity across the panel. It covers 100% of the sRGB color space and supports HDR10, making it ideal for both creative and technical tasks. Skin tones look lifelike, gradients are smooth, and there’s no visible banding or color shift. Whether I’m grading footage from my FX30 or retouching photos, I trust what I see. Build quality is top-tier. The stand is sturdy and fully adjustable—height, tilt, swivel, and pivot—so it’s easy to dial in a comfortable and ergonomic setup. The bezels are slim, giving it a clean, modern look, and the matte screen finish reduces glare without dulling the image. The USB-C connectivity is a major plus: it powers my laptop, transmits video, and handles data—all through a single cable. That keeps my desk clean and efficient. ASUS also includes their ProArt Calibration technology, which stores color profiles directly on the monitor’s internal chip. That means I can switch devices without losing calibration, and it reduces signal distortion between the display and the source A. It’s a thoughtful feature that shows ASUS understands the needs of professionals. If you’re looking for a monitor that’s ready for serious creative work straight out of the box—and still holds up under hardware calibration—the PA27CV is a fantastic choice. It’s accurate, reliable, beautifully built, and priced right for what it delivers. I’d recommend it to any editor, photographer, or content creator who wants true-to-life color and a hassle-free setup.

NO Australian Power Cable
Received the monitor this morning, It did not come with the AU power cable, the two cables that were with the monitor where for UK/CA and EU. I have contacted ASUS Australia, they have asked me to contact the supplier. How do I get the power cable that is for Australia.
