Updating with how long it lasted: 15 months. Not as long as the one that came in the washer, but for less than $15 and less than 30 minutes to put it in, very worthwhile - way better than buying a new machine. Also, with as much laundry as we do, you may not have to change it for years. Happy customer. Washing machine was banging like you wouldn't believe (or maybe you would, that's why you're here) and the clothes came out soaking wet. I was told, by someone I trust, that the machine was shot.
