What Is This Wonder in a Jar? I purchased WiseWays Herbals Lemon Balm Salve hoping it might help with a stubborn breakout in a sensitive skin area. I've tried numerous creams, ointments, and skincare products over the years, and most either did very little or caused additional irritation. The first thing that surprised me was the texture. In the container, it's a firm solid salve, but as soon as it comes into contact with your skin it softens and melts into a smooth, waxy oil that spreads easily. A little goes a long way, and it creates a protective, soothing layer without feeling harsh or medicated. After applying it consistently, I started noticing improvement within just a few days. By the end of the week, the breakout had largely cleared up and the irritated skin looked noticeably healthier. The area felt calmer, less irritated, and much more comfortable overall. I also appreciate that it doesn't have the strong chemical smell that many skin treatments have. The herbal scent is mild and natural, making it pleasant to use. I honestly wasn't expecting much when I ordered it, but after seeing the results for myself, it's become something I plan to keep on hand. If you're dealing with irritated or breakout-prone skin and want a natural alternative to traditional creams, this little jar may surprise you as much as it surprised me.

I don't usually write reviews unless I really love something or hate it. This product has blown me away. I came to amazon to get some clear cold sore covers so I can mask the ugly cold sore I felt myself starting to get. I saw this instead and all the raving reviews and order this instead. I got this so quick (love amazon) that I was able to PREVENT the cold sore from even coming out. a few days later I felt it in a different spot (persistence, I tell ya) and I immediately ran to this, and again, I never got a cold sore. Amazing. The second test- My boyfriend had a cold sore. And he got to a bit late (before I could remedy him like the loving and amazing SO that I am), it was the second day where it was starting to blister up, I put this on his lips before he left for work and gave him a few qtip filled of this to apply during the day. The next morning it was still a little bad, starting to break open.. we continued to put on the lemon balm salve and I swear, but afternoon it was healing. No more open wounds, no more blisters. Just a little red and irritated.. like it was raw skin healing. I am so so so impressed. This is a must have to any medicine cabinet of anyone who suffers from the occasional cold sore (apparently 80% or so of us). Works better than anything I have ever seen. The ONLY downside.. It naturally contains a lot of citronella, which in my opinion isn't the most pleasant to have on your lips, right under your nose. But its worth it regardless. the upside to that, I am sure it would make a great insect repellent!

Most people don’t know this, but the best herbal treatment for cold sores is lemon balm (melissa), which is difficult to find in topical skin products because it’s very expensive to extract. This product works extremely well for cold sores (herpes simplex)

I bought the Wise Ways White Pine Drawing Salve first. It was wonderful! When I ran out of it, I decided to get the Lemon Balm Cream. It has an oilier texture than the other, and a pleasantly lemony scent. I grow lemon balm in my garden, so am familiar with it and use it in herbal teas for colds and fever. Both of the salves are really softening for rough skin, and heal small skin breaks. Very soothing to use and will last a long time.

This WiseWays Lemon Balm Salve is my miracle in a jar. This is second jar and I will continue to buy it as long as it is available. Recently, I found I had some kind of rash on my thigh. I am not sure what I got into...I am allergic to all kinds of things. I decided try this balm since my brother and sister-in-law swear by the healing properties of lemon balm. Well. I gotta say, I was blown away by how well this worked. Within days, the rash went from angry red and itchy to pale pink and I would say it took no longer than a week before it was completely gone. The balm is thick--think petroleum jelly for consistency--and it smells pleasant. I don't know how it would do with other types of skin irritations, but for my own purposes, it felt like a miracle.

Has numerous uses. Comes in a glass jar with plastic top. Like the jar, wish top was metal, dropped it and plastic immediately shattered. Ugh

It doesn't work as effective as it did when I first started buying this. I'm not sure why, maybe they switched up the formula

This is my second time buying this lemon balm salve and I love it! 💫 heals and soothes a plethora of skin conditions - you just need a little bit and the tub can last you a while depending on its intended use!

I bought this as I'd seen in the reviews it is a good, natural relief for herpes. I've always known lemon balm is great for outbreaks so I was hopeful this would be a worthwhile purchase. Well yesterday I noticed I had a blister about the size of a 5p, and a few spots had shown up too (I've hsv2). I put this product directly on top of the blister and the spots at about 7pm after work, this morning I've woken up completely clear. Breakout literally gone 🤯 I am in shock. This works better than any antiviral medication (those don't actually work at all for me) and not only did it clear the outbreak but any pain/discomfort was gone within minutes of applying as well. I even had a scar from an outbreak I had a few years ago, just looked like a spot that had never gone, had it for years now. This even has started to clear that up. Couldn't recommend this product enough if you also have herpes outbreaks. I'll be buying this again for sure.

So happy to find a jar of this Lemon Balm I got it for my father, he has a shingles outbreak and I know this heals & soothes his skin quickly. Truly magical results, I can't thank the makers of this Balm enough, thank you🌞
