What Is This Wonder in a Jar? I purchased WiseWays Herbals Lemon Balm Salve hoping it might help with a stubborn breakout in a sensitive skin area. I've tried numerous creams, ointments, and skincare products over the years, and most either did very little or caused additional irritation. The first thing that surprised me was the texture. In the container, it's a firm solid salve, but as soon as it comes into contact with your skin it softens and melts into a smooth, waxy oil that spreads easily. A little goes a long way, and it creates a protective, soothing layer without feeling harsh or medicated. After applying it consistently, I started noticing improvement within just a few days. By the end of the week, the breakout had largely cleared up and the irritated skin looked noticeably healthier. The area felt calmer, less irritated, and much more comfortable overall. I also appreciate that it doesn't have the strong chemical smell that many skin treatments have. The herbal scent is mild and natural, making it pleasant to use. This stuff works wonders for cold sores! It has helped past outbreaks clear up more quickly than anything else I have tried. I have also used it to prevent many outbreaks - I use it whenever I feel a cold sore coming on, or if I've had any kind of cold sore trigger (sunburned lips, significant stress). Anytime I think I might get a cold sore, this is what I apply. I have had barely any outbreaks since using this, and I used to have them so frequently that I was on daily antiviral medication. This product has saved me from so much discomfort. A 2 ounce container has lasted me a very long time. The only con I can think of is that it is pretty greasy, but that's a small price to pay for the relief it has given me! HIGHLY recommend for anyone struggling with cold sores

This is my third time ordering this salve. I feel like it’s a miracle healer for cold sores. I also put it on blisters, big bites, and any skin issues that pop up. Love it!

I am a chronic cold sore sufferer so Ill give anything a shot. This year has been a bad cold sore year. I have had a cold sore almost faithfully every 2-3 weeks. I usually take Lysine supplements which helps immensely, but because of a personal circumstance Im no longer able to take it. So I decided to give this a shot since it had good reviews. I have been coldsore free for about three months! YAY! I just actually got one last night but i believe its from a huge sugar intake (4 snicker bars) and a bad bout of hormones! I will definitely continue using this product. The jar comes packaged well. 2 oz is really a huge amount. Feels greasy and doesn't last very long on the lips. Has a pleasant lemon smell. On the jar says you can use for rashes, as well.

This WiseWays Lemon Balm Salve is my miracle in a jar. This is second jar and I will continue to buy it as long as it is available. Recently, I found I had some kind of rash on my thigh. I am not sure what I got into...I am allergic to all kinds of things. I decided try this balm since my brother and sister-in-law swear by the healing properties of lemon balm. Well. I gotta say, I was blown away by how well this worked. Within days, the rash went from angry red and itchy to pale pink and I would say it took no longer than a week before it was completely gone. The balm is thick--think petroleum jelly for consistency--and it smells pleasant. I don't know how it would do with other types of skin irritations, but for my own purposes, it felt like a miracle.

Brothers and sisters, give lemon balm a try. Seriously. I bought lemon balm about a year ago in the middle of an outbreak. For the record, my lip-demons hatch maybe once every few years, always during a time of extreme stress. Anyway, the lemon balm seemed to soothe the little monster, and it appeared to heal faster. But I couldn't say for sure. Since that time I've used lemon balm on various bites and allergic skin reactions. It really helps. A new sore broke out two days ago. I put lemon balm on it as soon as I felt that tell-tale tingle. I kept it saturated. It never grew beyond its starting size. Day two it started to peel, the stage right before the sore typically scabs over. Kept it swimming in lemon balm and it never got any bigger. By the evening of day two I could feel it was dying. Day three -- no growth, no scab -- just healing skin. This stuff works in my opinion, and it's a helluva lot cheaper than what you buy at a drug store -- plus you get plenty of it.

I don't usually write reviews unless I really love something or hate it. This product has blown me away. I came to amazon to get some clear cold sore covers so I can mask the ugly cold sore I felt myself starting to get. I saw this instead and all the raving reviews and order this instead. I got this so quick (love amazon) that I was able to PREVENT the cold sore from even coming out. a few days later I felt it in a different spot (persistence, I tell ya) and I immediately ran to this, and again, I never got a cold sore. Amazing. The second test- My boyfriend had a cold sore. And he got to a bit late (before I could remedy him like the loving and amazing SO that I am), it was the second day where it was starting to blister up, I put this on his lips before he left for work and gave him a few qtip filled of this to apply during the day. The next morning it was still a little bad, starting to break open.. we continued to put on the lemon balm salve and I swear, but afternoon it was healing. No more open wounds, no more blisters. Just a little red and irritated.. like it was raw skin healing. I am so so so impressed. This is a must have to any medicine cabinet of anyone who suffers from the occasional cold sore (apparently 80% or so of us). Works better than anything I have ever seen. The ONLY downside.. It naturally contains a lot of citronella, which in my opinion isn't the most pleasant to have on your lips, right under your nose. But its worth it regardless. the upside to that, I am sure it would make a great insect repellent!

It doesn't work as effective as it did when I first started buying this. I'm not sure why, maybe they switched up the formula

This is my second time buying this lemon balm salve and I love it! 💫 heals and soothes a plethora of skin conditions - you just need a little bit and the tub can last you a while depending on its intended use!

I bought this as I'd seen in the reviews it is a good, natural relief for herpes. I've always known lemon balm is great for outbreaks so I was hopeful this would be a worthwhile purchase. Well yesterday I noticed I had a blister about the size of a 5p, and a few spots had shown up too (I've hsv2). I put this product directly on top of the blister and the spots at about 7pm after work, this morning I've woken up completely clear. Breakout literally gone 🤯 I am in shock. This works better than any antiviral medication (those don't actually work at all for me) and not only did it clear the outbreak but any pain/discomfort was gone within minutes of applying as well. I even had a scar from an outbreak I had a few years ago, just looked like a spot that had never gone, had it for years now. This even has started to clear that up. Couldn't recommend this product enough if you also have herpes outbreaks. I'll be buying this again for sure.

So happy to find a jar of this Lemon Balm I got it for my father, he has a shingles outbreak and I know this heals & soothes his skin quickly. Truly magical results, I can't thank the makers of this Balm enough, thank you🌞
