I will never buy another brand of running socks again! These wool socks are very comfortable and extremely durable. I have a habit of wearing a hole in the top of my socks where my big toenail hits the top of my shoe. I wear these socks all the time, and haven't had even a hint of wear showing in that spot. These socks are expensive, but I'd rather buy two pairs of these that will last a long time than throw away money on a drawer full of cheaper socks that don't hold up. Great socks!

I like the weight of the socks, but there is a seam at the toes and heels which pucker, reducing the comfort.

I love smartwool socks for all purposes. It's basically all that I own now and I use them mostly for running and working out. These are comfortable and true to size. The only part that was difficult for me to realize when purchasing is the level of padding. I have other light socks that are the same thickness throughout. These have thicker padding in the heel and toe area.

I have been wearing smart wool socks since I got my first pair at the expo for the Boston marathon in 2001. The best socks for every sport, I use the crew socks all year round when I ride my two horses, and run with them daily, and use them for road biking. they last forever!!

Just under 20 bucks? For a pair of SOCKS??! Is what I thought to myself, but went ahead and bought them after becoming addicted to wool blend socks for winter. WORTH IT. These are for bike riding and are a good investment, they’ll last me for years and help my feet stay comfortable and dry in my sassy new Five Ten bike shoes.
