This Ashley Hearth Products unit is sold by United State Stove Co., and actually manufactured in China.  United States Stove does not stock nor do they expect to stock replacement part that was damaged in shipping, The damaged part was not located until after the return window. The damaged part was the Pilot Connection Tube which is identified and listed as a replacement part in the owners manual, but is not available.  Thus, the unit cannot be operated and I am sitting on a $700 pile of junk.  Do not waste your time or your money.  Do not purchase from this company.

It was quite a bit of work to install. Very disappointing to try and light it the first time.  Then spend a couple hours taking it apart to find the ceramic insulator on the ignitor was cracked. Amazon customer service was excellent just a hassle I didnt need.As for the heat output. It may burn 24000 btu but i would have to guess AT least half that is going out  the exhaust
