I have been using these bags for years. The value is perfect. The size is excellent for all dogs. They handling and ease of use is absolutely amazing and the smell, when you get the lavender, is blissful. These bags are very sturdy and you don't have to worry about them falling apart on you. They are biodegradable which is another added bonus. I found one in a box a couple years later and it had degraded into thousands of pieces. That really says something. I have never smelled anything beyond the bag and that is saying something. I highly recommend!

We really love these new poop bags. They check all the boxes: Just the right thickness - nice and sturdy with no fear of blowout or leaks without being too thick. Just the right size - large enough to handle a full load and still be able to tie, without being overly large. Just the right level of fragrance - a pleasing whiff of lavender when you open one without knocking you over. Each bag tears off cleanly from the roll without undue drama. Likewise, opening the bag is drama free. Even the sticker that holds the new roll closed is thoughtfully designed. (Hint: remove the sticker toward the end of the bag, not the middle so that if you do tear the bag, it is just at the open end) We had previously been using compostable bags, which we threw into a bucket until we got around to gather them for disposal, but we found with those that if we waited more than a day or two, they could start decomposing in the bucket which made a mess. These stay intact until we get around to trashing them. The fact that these bags are made with 65% certified post-consumer recycled plastic helps to assuage our guilt that they are not quite as eco-friendly as compostable cornstarch-based bags. At $0.04 per bag as of June 2026, we find them to be a good value.

I was on the hunt for good poop bags because with the ones I just finished, I could smell it strongly the whole way back home. I read through a lot of reviews and first ordered a less known brand because of the reviews and I liked the print on them, but literally only received two rolls instead of 8! After being annoyed with having to return while out of bags, I chose these instead. I’ll definitely be sticking to this brand and am satisfied:) Much better than the ones I had. Thicker, but not too thick, nice size to conveniently pick up after my dog, fits nicely in her leash bag holder, the smell is way less noticeable. You can still smell her looser stools here and there, but I don’t think any are going to be fool proof. My outside garbage was very stinky with the other bags as well. I can definitely tell a difference and I’m happy with them. They’re also priced fairly. I also like how the box they came in can be used to pull the bags through. I thought it was cleaver and thoughtful. I got the scent less ones because I was afraid fragrance would annoy me. I feel like that about kitchen garbage bags too. If that doesn’t bother you, you might be fine with it. I didn’t want her leash holder to smell w/ fragrance either, so the scent free ones were great! The rolls are very small, so you can really fit them anywhere, including your pocket. I can fit 2 in her leash holder if I wanted to. I think if your dogs poo’s are nice and solid like they should be, you probably will never smell it through the bag at all. My dogs going through some problems, but honestly, I’m not smelling it the whole way home, so I’m happy. I’ll update once her poo is solid again to tell the difference. I really do highly recommend these ones! The darker green colors nice too;)

Great size--can easily pick up waste from more than one dog. Opens easily and warns when you are on the last 3 bags. I love that they do not have scent. They seal the smell in well and have enough room to tie it easily when full. These are high quality and much easier to use than previous brands I have tried. They are a good thickness--easy enough to open, but thick enough not to tear easily.

This is probably my 5th time ordering these- obviously I love them. They have a nice scent to them and are much easier to open than many other brands I've tried. They are also very strong and never break or rip.

These bags are really nice! The size is large enough to accommodate various sized pups waste and still have enough space to tie them up securely. The bags are thick and sturdy so there’s no fear they’ll rip when pulling one off the roll or that the odor will escape. I appreciate that the bags are easy to rip apart if they’re in a bag holder or straight off the roll stored in a pocket.

These are great! They’ve never ripped so they’re pretty tough, easy to tie to close. I’ve never had an issue using them that wasn’t caused by myself:-). I rated it 4 stars because of the scent. It doesn’t hide the poop stench with the lavender bags.

I've been using Earth Rated bags for about two years now, and they're honestly the best I've found for everyday dog walks. I've tried a bunch of cheaper brands in that time, mostly because I felt like I was overpaying, but I always come back to these. The material is noticeably thicker than what you get from most other companies. When I'm out with my dog and I grab a bag from the roll, there's zero anxiety about it falling apart mid-use, which sounds like a small thing until you've dealt with bags that split or leak. What really sold me on sticking with them is the durability. I've got a rescue who can be unpredictable on walks, and there have been plenty of situations where the bag gets twisted, stretched, or just handled roughly. Not once have they torn or failed me. The 100% leak-proof thing isn't marketing fluff either. I've had no issues with my hands staying clean, even when I've had to tie off a particularly difficult situation. The bag measures 13 by 9 inches, which gives you plenty of working room and makes them feel substantial compared to the flimsy stuff you find at the dollar store. My only real complaint is the price point. These aren't cheap. If you're buying them at full price regularly, it adds up. But I've caught them on discount a few times, and that's when they become an absolute steal. At that price, they're the best option on the market. The fact that they're made from recycled plastic is a nice bonus too, even if it's not the main reason I buy them. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to deal with breakages or gross surprises during their dog walks.

Ich nutze die Hundekotbeutel inzwischen regelmäßig und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Beutel sind angenehm dick, reißfest und wirklich auslaufsicher. Selbst bei größeren Hinterlassenschaften lassen sie sich problemlos verwenden, ohne dass man Angst haben muss, dass sie reißen. Der leichte Lavendelduft ist dezent und überdeckt unangenehme Gerüche etwas, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Außerdem lassen sich die Beutel leicht voneinander trennen und passen problemlos in einen Standard-Kotbeutelspender. Mit 270 Beuteln reicht die Packung lange und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Für mich gehören sie zu den besten Hundekotbeuteln, die ich bisher ausprobiert habe. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I’ve been a long time fan of an another doggy bag brand selling degradable bags but I can’t find them anymore in my local pet store. I decided to give a try to these ones, seduced by the idea of using bags mostly made from reusable plastic. I care about my plastic consumption (2 to 3 poops a day for a Bull terrier x 365 days/year x Average 12year life expectancy = LOADS of doggy bags!) Honestly, what a great product! Bags are strong, easy to cut, fair price and what a lovely surprise when I discovered there is a reminder sticker 3 bags before the end of the roll!!! Who does that? First time I see this and it’s so handy. Now I never run out of doggy bags on a walk anymore.
