I've never used acai powder before, and it smells like a freshly painted room, is that normal?

I had this problem as well, initially when I first used it I had no issues but after sitting in the cupboard for a few months it smells like paint or plastic, tasted like it too unfortunately. So dissapointed!

Why the Prop 65 warning?

No clue. Prop 65 warns when a product may contain carcinogens!?!?

How do you convert powder into a purée without adding fruit? I want to use a purée then add fruit on top.

I easily mix mine in with plain yogurt or shake it up it some water and orange juise to a smoothie

Is this acai pasteurized?

Our Organic Acai powder is produced from raw acai berries, and freeze dried to preserve freshness. There is no pasteurization. The product is harvested, gently cleaned, goes into a freeze-drying chamber, milled, sieved, and then screened for metal and other contaminants via an x-ray machine. It is tested and then packaged.
