## Description

You can create your own hearthstones, wall caps, column caps, and pavers with Stone Master's rubber mold for concrete. The top is a stone texture and the four sides are chiseled. The finished product that you pour will be 22" x 22" and 2" thick. You can also pour it thinner, if desired. No need to use release agent, so easy clean up. This professional quality mold will last you for many, many pours! The approximate size of the mold is 25" by 25" by 2.75" thick. Manufactured Stone Basic Mixing Procedures Using A Pre-bagged Concrete Mix: This is one suggestion for mixing the concrete for manufactured stone. There are many other instructions available online, including videos. BE SURE TO USE A CONCRETE MIX THAT CONTAINS PORTLAND CEMENT. We recommend Sakrete Maximizer, as it has lightweight aggregate, is high strength, and yields more product, but there are many kinds you can use. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for mixing. If using pigment, add desired iron oxide pigment to mixer (100% pure, no additives). These can easily be found on desertcart, etc. A plasticizer can be added to reduce the amount of water in the mix. Pour into the molds which may already have coloring additives… NO RELEASE AGENT NECESSARY. Vibrate molds to release air bubble. Cure in the molds for approximately 24 hours at the minimum of 70 degrees Fahrenheit before demolding. Higher humidity is desired. Molds can be covered with a tarp to retain more heat and humidity. Continue to cure demolded stones at 70 degrees or greater until ready.

I put a layer of 3/8 in galv steel square hole wire for rabbit cages etc, 1 layer in the middle for rebar. 80 lbs each but man they are 22x22 for 1 bag of concrete and rock solid. Do the math. Well worth it!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I use these molds to pour epoxy resin?**
A: Thank you for your interest!  We have used resin successfully in all of our molds.

**Q: How much concrete is needed to fill this mold?**
A: It is very close to 1-80lb bag. I have at times had a small amount left over, but other times used all 80 lbs. I'm not sure why I got those small differences. It was probably due to the water/cement ratio, which may not have been all that consistent across attempts.

**Q: Do you have this in 24x24 or 25x25 ?**
A: Sorry, not at this time.

**Q: Do you have or know where to get 30” molds?**
A: At this time we do not offer 30" molds.  Sorry, we don't know where you can get them.
