Everyone in the comments was right you need to modify the key it comes with and as well be prepared to purchase a different size bolt from Home Depot my go kart was homemade by someone who sold it on market place so as cheap as this kit is it does t have everything but it did work at the end so 4 stars from me Iโll show a video later

POOR QUALITY CONTROL
The Drive pully JUST barely fit on the shaft of the engine BUT the driven pully is just JUNK. The shaft was bored too small and the keyway was too small. Would not fit on the shaft. I bored out the shaft bore myself to the proper dimension, 5/8in but was unaware that the keyway also had a problem. Actually ruined the key and my new bearings on the jack shaft trying to get this on. Had to repair the jack shaft so I could use it again. The driven pully is now junk. I wasted a full day trying to make it work. Should have returned it immediately but my grandson wanted his go cart. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MANUFACTURER. POOR QUALLITY CONTROL.

Good bang for the buck and restored the performance on my 208r mud head go cart .

Keyway not milled properly
This product has worked to stop belt breakage on our Coleman KT196 Go Kart, however the parts weren't milled properly. The keyway was not fully milled which causes the parts to improperly slide together. DO NOT FORCE IT!! If you force the keyway to mate you will bent the rod. I had to file the keyway channel on the torque converter to allow it to slide. You need a thin enough file to be able to get it in the channel without rounding off the corners. There is a similar issue with the back plate on the clutch where the new plate will not fit. I had to reuse the original back plate. Also keep in mind that the new back plate does not have the two roller bearings, it uses a wide brass ring instead. So truthfully I was happier with the original as I feel it will have less issues with friction. I have also noticed that the go kart runs slightly slower now. My son doesn't care because he is just happy to ride again, but it was noticeable to me. All in all, for the price I was happy, but if you are not comfortable or if you didn't know you could file the keyway this set would have not been able to have been used.
