Less is not considered as effective.** A: i found an Arnica gel 50% tincture of fresh organic Arnica montana extract (a ration of 1:20). There are approximately 20 Arnica flower heads per tube. Each gram of gel contains 500 mg of Arnica montana extract. How does that compare? **Q: About how quickly can it "dissolve" a typical small bruise on the arm, etc.?** A: The faster you apply the Arnica the better it works. My daughter bruises easily and if we can get arnica on right after she bumps into something, and then apply it about three more times that day, the bruise will be faint and only last a couple days, if it even shows up at all. She got her hand slammed in a car door and we put arnica on as soon as it happenwas d and applied it several times that day. It eased her pain and the bruise was a faint line instead of her whole hand being purple. We live this stuff, with three adventurous little people it is essential in our home. **Q: Does it have a strong odor?** A: No. Zero odor.
