I purchased and installed these lights which was quite easy on a golf cart and they worked perfectly, and looked awsome, then about 4 months went by we noticed some odd behavior, then it got worse we re-checked all connection and looked for pinched wires, none found then they went off totally, contacted service dept and explained the situation and they sent out a complete replacement, which I did not expect, every product will have glitches, so 5 stars, and I will definitely by govee again.

Giving these 5 stars because they are satisfactory. This is a real review I will try to keep it brief. The lights are good. They came working and the controller connects well with my device (Iphone 13) The installation process isn’t difficult but it depends on what car you have and what you’re willing to do to mount them via how you want to mount them. The only issue I had was it didn’t fir too well on my vehicle (2008 Nissan Altima) and the wiring was difficult to mount to the car. It was janky lol. But they look good at night and have enough different modes or scenes as Govee calls it. They lasted me for a solid year sticking onto the car before they began to fall off. Keep in mind they went through a full summer and winter and a lot of miles. One thing I would like to add is they are completely visible during darker hours but with any daylight you most likely will not be able to see them. I would recommend this kit as a good starter kit. It is simple and good quality as long as you take care of them. Keep in mind that my installation is not the best example but this video is the product in use.

Ok so I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I am waiting on my coilovers to arrive so I figured it would be easier to install before I lower the car. Boy I tell you what: these things are great. Install time took about 5 hours but I am extremely meticulous when it comes to things looking as factory as possible so I took my time with this. Over all I would say it turned out excellent. I did screw them into the plastic as well as using alcohol and adhesion promoter on the plastics so I am not too concerned with them peeling off in the weather. (I live in Western WA so it rains like 65% of the year) I ran the control box off of a spare fuse slot in the factory fuse box off of a 10A fuse. Once I finished installing these things I was extremely impressed with the endless settings and possibilities that are available in the app. There are easily 150 different preset designs to choose from as well as the ability to change each section individually. My only real complaint is that the rear and right side run as "one" single strip and the front and left as well. If you want the lights to chase all the way around the car in one continuous loop it can't be done but it is still very cool. For the price you can't get anything better than this. The stripes themselves seem to be made of quality plastics and appear to be completely water tight. I'm not too concerned with water damage, especially the way I tucked the wiring into the frame. They came with a neat (and quality) key FOB controller that allows you to make various changes with just the remote. Best function is the power button so you can quickly turn them on and off with the remote rather than going into the app on your phone. It also holds memory so if you last had it set to a design from your phone then turn them off and on again with the remote it will return to what was last set. I'm very happy with the way it turned out and I may post more pictures after I lower the car for some better shots. If you are looking for some underglow with a ton of features that won't break the bank and you are capable of removing fender liners and side skirts to tuck wires really well, then this is the kit for you. I would say that someone with little to no experience could install this with a bit of patience as the only thing that really needs to be wired are the - and + wires from the control module to the battery though I would recommend buying a small fuse block for anything electrical just in case. You can get one at any part store for like $5-6. I went with a 10A fuse though that may be a bit more than necessary but it's there to protect my vehicles electrical system in case of any shorts that may occur. I installed these on my Nissan 370z (09) and honestly they're pretty good but for the 370z I should have done more research because the rear strip is way too long to actually fit anywhere on the back. I still never found a solution to this problem so there's that. That's more of a DIY thing but people buying these usually expect that kind of stuff. Secondly, I like the remote but it would be nice if there was a button on it to start cycling through your DIY presets instead of having to go into the app to do that. But I digress. Thirdly, the adhesive on these, when combined with gorilla glue, is actually really really good. I've installed 3 different LED strips on my cars over the years and this one has held up the best by far with adhesive alone. Though I was going to actually fasten them but I'll have to redo this whole thing when I wrap the car anyway so I just left it as is for now. haha The color quality is pretty good though it definitely feels like certain saturation is lacking from certain colors. Feels like the colors could be a bit more saturated but that problem always persists with these cheap (probably drop shipped) chinese LED strip kits. I should also mention that if you are buying these, beware that it does NOT come with any ability to easily wire it to your car, you will have to figure out what to do for that. I suggest buying one of those adapters that is a cigeratte lighter DC plug on one end (preferably with a power switch on it) and a red & black wire connector on the other. Then just route the LED strip kit through your firewall and into the car to plug into one of your lighter plugs. But you can also do an add-a-fuse method as well. Do your own research on that. Overall, pretty good, but eh, I've had better. You get what you pay for though. I'd recommend looking at the $100 mark if you can at least. And preferably research what other LED strip kits people do for your car if you have something more than a typical SUV / pick up truck / sedan. But overall, pretty decent I guess. probably won't last years but at least for a couple years maybe you might get some good use out of ' em.

Super great quality and seems long lasting. Really bright and the app has a lot of options for styles. The only thing I would change is the bracket it sends are very flimsy and the screws sucked to use

There are two pairs of light bars. Each set is 2 light bar units connected to each other. The sets are mirrored to each other. You can not independently control each light bar. You can only control 2 and then whatever you do is mirrored to the other 2. Mine must be defective because they do not mirror each other and light up at the same areas. What you see in these two pictures is a single segment lit up in the app, except what you get in reality is that in one picture lights on BOTH light bars in the same set are lit, while in the other picture at the same time, only lights on one bar are lit in that set, and the lights aren't lit at the same place on each. Why does this matter? Because where I live if you want under glow active while driving you can only have certain colors visible from certain sides of your vehicle. So to stay legal on the road I can only display white on front, amber on the sides, and red on the rear while the car is on public road ways. Also before I bought this I asked the Govee rep if each light strip was independently controlled and they said yes. That was not true. You get a mirrored set of light bars. So your fronts and rears will always match and your left and right will always match. You can turn on/off segments of a set BUT you're still limited by the fact that the sets are mirrored. The Govee rep should have just said "I don't know" and not wasted their time or mine. Now I have to return this.

Looks and feels good, strips are actually good length. Wire were long enough to spread comfortably around. Good brightness and colour accuracy
