This thing is awesome!! I love it. Looks beautiful, works great, and was on sale. If you're looking for a kettle to boil water in 5 minutes, this is for you. After your water boils, it turns off the boiling, then you can adjust the warming settings, or just unplug it to turn it off. I highly recommend this wonderfully quiet kettle with the beautiful blue light that shines through the water. Easy to clean, and has a detailed instruction booklet.

From a cold water start, pressing the lever at bottom of the handle, it took about 3 minutes to hit full boil, which is turn the knob clockwise all the way to right as far as it will go. TO TURN IT OFF, turn it counterclockwise all the way to the left. It's hard to see but the first symbol is an O with a slash through it, and it will turn off the "keep warm:" function. So the lever on the handle seems to quick heat to the desired temperature and flips up to, "auto switch" to warming temp. This seems to stay on for quite a long time, and you will hear it warming water back up as it cools down until you turn the knob all the way to the left to turn the kettle off. I haven't dry boiled to see if it auto shuts off the kettle completely. Maybe that's when the function kicks on. Otherwise, it seems to be an auto switch to warm mode. So far I love this as I'm always drinking hot drinks throughout the day and like the keep warm temp stays on longer than any kettle I've ever used. Cute, fast, wide mouth to clean. Loving it thus far.

However, it's important to note that even when it's turned off, it still maintains the water at the set temperature, so remember to unplug it when not in use if you don't want it running. While we do wish the carafe was slightly larger, we opted for the smaller size to match our kitchen decor, and we're happy with our choice. Despite its size, it still meets our tea-drinking needs efficiently. One thing to be mindful of is the potential for hard water build-up. To combat this, we regularly heat a vinegar mix through the kettle to keep it clean, which has proven to be effective. Overall, we're delighted with the Elite Gourmet EKT1220M Electric Glass Kettle and would purchase it again without hesitation. It's not only a practical appliance but also a lovely addition to our kitchen that enhances both form and function. It's a great little kettle.

I love this kettle. I like that the lever under the handle simply boils and turns off again, while the knob gives more options for heating and keeping warm the water. The temps on the knob aren't the most accurate.

Really nice looking, glass is what I was looking for, but it doesn't actually boil the water. That's ok though, we still have the old one to boil water to add to whatever needs it. This gets it hot enough that it's drinkable right away and we don't have to wait for an hour to be able to take a sip lol (we use our insulated travel mugs even at home). The dial on the front is not what I am used to on electric kettles, it's actually nicer. Whatever temperature you leave the dial on, it will keep the water that temp all day if you want it to. It shuts off and on to maintain that temp. Since it never boils the water, there is no risk of it boiling away with the lack of an auto shut-off, which wouldn't work with this kind of heat maintaining set up. Happy with it :)

I don't usually write reviews, but this cute kettle has made my life so much easier. Its fast and easy to heat water to the correct temp for whatever you need. It frees up the stovetop and does a better job. It pours easily and looks nice as well. I use it daily for my mushroom coffee and tea. 5 STARS.

I liked the design and colour scheme so ordered this unit. The base unit has a central hub which had to be straightened each time ,the kettle was to switch on.This eventually failed to switch on the unit. I had the kettle replaced and again the same problem. The kettle is not suitable for general home use ,sadly.

I purchased this product in October 2023...I have used it 'daily' since then, to brew my coffee, etc, for me and my guests! It is now January 19th, and it has inexplicably began leaking from around the body, near the bottom of the kettle. I have used it exclusively, and it has never left my coffee table since it arrived! Until today, it has been an excellent product! Much better than the Hamilton Beach coffee maker(over $100.00) which only lasted a year! Heats very quickly when full, holds water at serving temperature well...For the price paid(under $30.00 CAD) it was a very good value, so no complaints! I would however like to continue using it daily, but would love to stop the dripping, if the manufacurer has any suggestions...? **I DO reccomend this product, as a very good product/value!

La escogí porque no necesito una de gran capacidad. Es fácil de llenar, usar y limpiar. Me gusta que viene por temperaturas, sirve para quien toma té y requiere que cada uno tenga una temperatura correcta.
