From Whisper to Groove with Ease
The Vic Firth Heritage Brushes are basically jazz magic wands—wave them around, and suddenly I’m channeling my inner Philly Joe Jones. The rubber handles feel amazing in the hands—grippy, comfortable, and perfect for long sessions without leaving my fingers feeling like I just arm-wrestled a cymbal. The retractable wires glide in and out smoothly, so I can switch from storage mode to “let’s swing” mode in seconds. The balance is spot-on. Light enough for whispery textures on the snare, but sturdy enough to dig in when the groove needs a little extra fire. I’ve used other brushes that felt flimsy or clunky—these are neither. They respond like they know exactly what I’m about to play, which makes me look (and sound) a lot cooler than I really am. In short: smooth, comfortable, and built like a pro tool. Whether you’re in a smoky jazz club (or just pretending in your living room), the Vic Firth Heritage Brushes deliver that buttery swish and snap every drummer dreams about.

Very Happy
I started using these sticks after my drum teacher turned me onto them, and they just felt right instantly. Steve Gadd is arguably the greatest drummer ever, and it's easy to see why he chose to give his endorsement on these. Perfect weight and balance, very versatile, and hard to break. The specialized tip makes a bright, full sound on the bell, too. The black paint will start to wear off around the taper, but no big deal - doesn't affect the sound or feel. Great delivery, no issues. Happy playing!

Amazing find and worth every penny.
I couldn't believe that i found these stix. They are probably the longest pair i have ever used, and they have a great barrel shaped tip. Honestly i am going to buy two more pair just to have them. Totally worth it and they definitely help me mix up my dynamics and allow for a rich wealth of musical creation. And theyre really cool looking which is almost as important as their great functional quality. lol

Not for everyone, but "almost" perfect for me!
Wow. Just wow. For years I used vic SD1. It's a big heavy stick and it's exactly what I needed to play the hard heavy stuff. Then I got decades older and the music I played was lighter, sometimes acoustic, sometimes small venues, and maybe more importantly, I wanted to feel the music not smash my way though it. So I opted for vics 5a and for awhile it was OK. Better than OK. But the stick didn't fit some of the songs we were playing. So I ordered a 7a. Oh I live 2 hours from the closest music store so I did trial and error with my friend, Mr Amazon. At first I hated the 7a. Felt like a baby stick in my hand. I marked up one 7a so they were mine. Tossed them in my Closet thinking never to be heard from or seen again. About a month later a new pair of hats showed up and I pulled out the 7a's to hear and feel the difference between 5a and 7a in the hats. The 7a won out. But the 7a still felt small in my hands. I got used to it though. Then I saw the gadd sticks and said let's give them a try. This stick is the absolute perfect stick for me. Longer than the 7a. A tad shorter than the 5a. More bulk than the 7a. Not much. In fact very little. But the stick feels a lot larger. And get this, the stick feels lighter than the 7a, but feels bigger than my 5a. Sure this might not make sense. But it does to me. The feel of this stick in my hand is wonderful. The absolute best. The sound off the hats and cymbals is superb. The rebound on these sticks blows the 5a away The one caveat, if it is one, if you cross stick, plan on the black paint chipping away. I crash with the tip of my stick but I have noticed how easily the plant flakes off when cross sticking. One more thing. If you like to see the VF flag to find the perfect rebound point, you don't want these sticks. The silver writing, with the flag, will disappear once you use the sticks. For me the flag and the bottom of the writing was gone after a 2 hour show. No biggie for me though. Otherwise I love this stick!!!

Perfect brushes, bents ends are excellent
Quality brushes! Legendary pro drummer I used on my music project had these and swore by them. The curved/bent ends apparently make it better playing, don't have as much friction against a new drum head for example, and the sound seems to have more control when you have those bent ends. Feels like good quality. They take effort to push in & out of their protective sheaths but you won't mind that, might even consider that a good thing.

J’adore
