CONQUECO Portable Coffee Maker: 12V Travel Espresso Machine, 15 Bar Pressure Rechargeable Battery Heating Water with Organize Case for Camping, Driving, Home and Office

I travel for work, and hate not having good coffee. This works great. Great crema. It does take a while to make a single shot without hot water, but if you have a hot water supply it works great. You get around 3 shots with cold water, heating the water takes a ton of power. Hot water doesn’t take near as much and can do many brews that way. It’s nice to have both options, many of the other manual pump style makers must use hot water. A few minor complaints: The case has no protection for the on/off switch. If you’re traveling by air I would recommend disconnecting the battery and taking it in your carry-on if you plan to check this. Also, the case has slots for a few pods, but they aren’t held securely so they just float around. You’re better off keeping in the box they came in. Comes with a travel 12v car charger, but don’t expect to be able to brew on the road unless you have a helper. However if you’re camping or something the car charger may be useful.

Right out of the box, it didn’t work once. I read the manual front to back, assembled it, then charged it fully until 3 lights where on. I started from the beginning following the instructions step by step. The extracting chamber cap screwed down properly. The water cup screwed on. The tank cap screwed on.After brewing, I opened the water cap to find the chamber cap with capsule had fallen into the water cup and hadn’t brewed.It heated the water, but it was luke warm but not steaming. Water was dripping still from the machine into the water cup…I wouldn’t use this machine in a car on travel.I figured something went wrong, so I tried again. I put in the capsule, screwed it all together, put the water in right up under the max line, screwed on the top and tried it again.After brewing the second time, the extraction chamber hadn’t fallen into the water cup; HOWEVER, the water was still luke warm (not propped for espresso) and it hadn’t brewed. The liquid in the water cup was just water. I took the capsule out to inspect it. The capsule had been pierced, but the contents were dry.This machine doesn’t work.

What can I say, it does take some time to heat up water. If you plug it in the car it will use the automotive 12v as a suplement. Heating water takes some time. The Wall wart is for charging only. I use it 3 or 4 times a day 3 days a week or more. And have been using it on vacation as well 6 - 8 shots per day for a week. If you use it in the office go to the coffee machine and fill it with hot water. If you do that you can make 5 or so cups with a single charge and it only takes about 5min to get a good cup. The machine is 90% of what you will get from the home machine, with that said if you use good coffe you will get superior espresso to the coffee house stuff at a fraction of the price. You will break even in a couple of months if you use it often. I like it so much I bought one as a gift as well. Well worth the money.

I just purchased my Conqueco coffee maker and this is what I think.The good:Nice shot of espresso with a small crema which makes it very pleasing. I can use Nespresso as well as Starbucks pods made for Nespresso machines. Probable and not too heavy. Cleans easily. Coffee tastes just as it should.The not so good:Machine arrived 3 days ago, started using it yesterday and I am already having problems with it. It does not heat up the water no matter how long I wait after pressing the button for 2 seconds and hearing the beep. The extracting chamber cap is so hard to close that my hand hurts. This product is not for older people with arthritic hands.

I've been used almost 3 years and because of some reason it' broken and bought again same product because I really love to use. Purchase twice means that much satisfy this product. However, more amazing happen was Conqueco's service. I asked to get broken part thru Amazon seller QnA, seller helped me to get it as free of charge. I've never ever experienced such a service for over the warranty service. I saw and experienced good product but never experienced good product with great service.

Fist off - this machine can be great for traveling! Great portability and it actually brews a really good espresso!BUT the chamber that you load the pod into..not so good. The grooves of the lid are too tight and it takes quite some effort to get it in there right. And if you don't get it right and the lid pops from the pressure while it's brewing then the whole machine is useless and you're out $100+ dollars. It took the first machine about 1.5 month of use before the grooves were smooth and the lid started popping out and eventually broke and the second machine less about 2 weeks.Not to speak of the endless amounts of wasted pods because halfway through the brewing process it would pop and the pod had to be thrown away and start over.Might try a third machine down the road, but the company will really need to find some sturdier material for the pod chamber locking mechanism.

This is absolutely wonderful. Many hotel rooms have removed the coffee machines and this provides a travel convenient way to ensure you have coffee without having to track down a chain. It takes longer than expected to hear the water and you have to make sure to recharge it after 2-3 uses but it's still great knowing you have access to good espresso.

le couvercle de la batterie ne tiens pas en place , la batterie s''echappe de son logement . le couvecle qui vient sur la dosette ne se ferme pas si il y a une dosette dedans . impossible d'utilisé la machine .le vendeur a decidé de remboursé 17$ sur 212$ . a fuir .

It dose work well and makes a good expresso but it should be hotterIt is looks great and is well made but the battery cover keeps falling off

Certainly works but boy it takes forever to charge and for the 4.5 hour effort you get to make 3 cups of espresso.If using cold water and you want the unit to heat the water first, then it takes a full 10 minutes of heating time - 20 minutes to make two cups if sharing with a friend - that's too long and inconvenient. Quicker of course if you use boiling water from another source. One tip, is that you can reduce the wait time for the unit to fully charge if you use the 12 volt car charger instead of the mains adapter. The car power source lets you use the machine while charging but the mains power supply is simply for charging - that's a long time and too much effort to wait for a coffee. I'm left with mixed feelings and tend to end up reaching for my travel folding filter more often than not.

Small collection container and small amount intake water tank. Pods will sometimes not be punctured by screw in cap - this means you must prick them open manually! Heating slow - works better with boiling water!

It makes a very good espresso. I bit bigger and heavier than expected. Nice carry case included. Will need to see how the battery performs over time.
