Great laser in a compact design.
I have bought Feyachi products in the past and have had good luck so I decided to try the green laser sight. Man this thing is bright. It comes with two sets of batteries. The aluminum body is very light. The adjustments will take some getting used to but works fine. The on and off buttons are ambidextrous and are a crisp instant on and off. The battery door is easy to access without tools. The batteries will only go in from back to front at a angle. Not from the side. Again itโs extremely bright and not a toy. I donโt know about longevity yet but so far it seems great.

Great Inexpensive Training Tool
I'd like to preface this review with something Amazon asked me to rate ... "Warmth" and "Thickness" ... this isn't a blanket or sweater. Aaaaanyway - that aside. Lasers are polarizing things in the firearms industry. Some people think "If I put this on here, I'll hit everything that laser touches" while some others think "Well, if you want to broadcast where you are and send that beam out in a dusty room and give away your location, it's your funeral." These are obviously extremes, but there are people like that out there. I look at these in a different light - pun intended. These make good training tools. A laser on your firearm, especially on pistols will confirm a bad habit such as a flinch before pulling the trigger almost immediately. Sure, beaming a burglar is a great deterrent rather than having to shoot them, but let's be honest - you're more likely to put a laser on your pistol and hit the range, then have to explain to your friends why you aren't god's greatest gift to target shooting. If you want to see your shortcomings on the range, this will GREATLY help you identify them, so you can work on correcting them and strengthening your fundamentals. I'm not sure how Amazon treats pictures with them installed which is why I didn't include a photo, but for you readers out there, I had installed this on a Steyr L9A2MF pistol. I've had flinching issues in the past, but I simply installed it on there because the shape of this particular laser matches the blocky contours of the Steyr. I generally like to take full-sized handguns out to ranges for new or novice shooters I bring and teach so this will help illustrate the do's and don'ts when it comes to grip technique and the squeeze. If you want a great training tool, or you just want to be the coolest ninja in the mall, then by all means, go for it. The adjustability of these is a little less intuitive compared to some, but once you have it dialed in it's solid for the task at hand. You will receive two sets of batteries for it too, so that's a plus. Get out there, show your friends how shaky you can be after a few Red Bulls and put some rounds down range :D

got a different model than described on amazon page
The amazon page goes into detail how there are two simple screw adjustments for windage and elevation and the display pictures show and point that out. The unit I got did not have that feature, instead there were four very tiny hex socket screws set at a 90 deg angel to each other, at a 45 deg angle to the axis of the led on the led housing. This might be alright except that when the unit is mounted, two of the screws are just short of impossible to get to. There is no good way to adjust the laser when mounted on a firearm because of the inaccessible screws, and to adjust you have to adjust two screws at the same time. This system is useless because any adjustment moves both the windage and elevation at the same time. I spent 30 minutes trying to adjust before giving up and returning the unit. There was no way to make the beam coincident with the scope or iron sights. Simply not practical when mounted. What's shown on the web page might work, what I got, doesn't. The good: very bright green beam and dot, could easily see it in daylight, at night it projected at least 250 yards. Bad: Battery life is questionable, they were weakening at around 20 minutes.

LOVE THIS LASER !!
GREAT PRICE! This laser IS low profile ! Green dot is bright ! Love that it has pic rail to add other device ! Placed it on TOP of my MECH TECH 10MM carbine. Pic rail allows me to add red dot sight on top. EASY to mount. Can tighten mounting screw with quarter ! (I always have one around) Batteries are easy to change. Tricky to zero though. Would have given it 5 stars if adjustment screws were in + pattern (up and down to left and right) instead of X pattern. Made it tricky but not impossible. WILL purchase again for next/other firearm !! THANKS !!

be patient - mine seemed faulty
SECOND REVIEW - SECOND UNIT I can now understand why some folks have legitimate issues with this unit. I could not get the laser to align with point of impact no matter how far I screwed the alignment screws in/out. The solution - after disassembly - was to turn the internal laser diode component 180 degrees (your solution might not be this extreme). For me, the laser was pointing at a very low 6 o'clock at the highest setting for elevation. Tools required were a small PH0 micro screwdriver and a pair of serrated/toothed tweezers. Start by loosening the alignment screws using the included allen wrench. Remove the 4 tiny screws from the top side of the unit (normally flush with the picatinny rail). Carefully remove the top portion. Then very gently pull the bronze/gold colored about half way out - it would not come out all the way - and replacing the spring would be very difficult - so don't try to fully remove the laser diode. Just pull it out about a 1/4 inch so you can get the tweezers to slowly twist the laser diode into a better position. Then gently reassemble - taking care about wire placement. After doing this - I was able to get the laser point of aim to agree with a bore laser. Good luck! ===== FIRST REVIEW - FIRST UNIT At first, it seemed like my unit was faulty I had a laser inserted in the bore and was trying to make adjustments to this PL-31 and it wouldn't get close Finally I started making large adjustments ... nearly removing the small adjustment screws from the unit Afterwards, with a little extra force - the pointer was able to be adjusted to match the in-bore laser Why you should buy this? it uses larger batteries than the PL-19 it is tool-less battery changing just understand that one battery faces down and the other faces up e.g. front battery (closest to laser end) should have + facing up/towards lid, rear battery should have + facing down/away from lid ALSO - this unit has a momentary push-switch on each side - you tap the switch (like a mouse click) - and it tells a 'smart circuit' to turn on the laser until you tap it again The disadvantage ... this 'smart circuit' will slowly drain your batteries over months so - set a reminder monthly to check your batteries if this is going on something your life depends on... or - even better - simply leave the battery lid 'open' to prevent any drainage I can't speak to how well it performs in a real firearm with the shocks/G's involved - but I can tell you this fits perfectly under the front of the Crosman Vigilante CO2 pistol which is my 'fun' 'in home plinker/trainer' that costs pennies compared to live ammo The reason why this is perfect is because the 'picatinny' rail has a SINGLE point for a screw to pass thru that is not compatible with other units that require two tensioning screws

The Feyachi Red/Green Laser Sight Low-Profile Compact Picatinny Rail Laser works extremely well
I used my Feyachi Red/Green Laser Sight Low-Profile Compact Picatinny Rail Laser, on one of my AR-15's, and it is OUTSTANDING! The Feyachi has the lowest profile of any I have used, is dead center at point of aim on my targets, and very bright. Although made for pistols, it is rugged enough to handle the recoil of a 5.56NATO round. And now for a word of caution - it uses two included LR44 batteries, which need to be installed like this: forward battery positive down, rear battery positive up. it's a bit of an unusual setup, and if installed any other way, the laser will not work. Battery placement is relatively insignificant in the whole scheme of things, Overall, I would rate the Feyachi Red/Green Laser Sight Low-Profile Compact Picatinny Rail Laser 5/5 on a scale of 5!

Solid adjustable laser
I have tried a few Feyachi products so far and continue to be impressed for the price range and customer service. I did not have an issue with this laser when it came in, but if I had, they would have easily taken care of it quickly, as they have done so for me in the past. This laser sight comes well-packaged with a custom foam insert as do all their products. And as usual, they are not stingy with the extras. Included are an extra set of batteries (it works on 2 LR44 batteries), a tiny Allen wrench, and a flat metal tab with their logo and a hole so you can hook it to your keys or whatever. The tab is a convenient tool for tightening down the mounting clamp, which also is a convenient thumb screw to tighten by hand. The laser housing is sturdy and metal, pica tinny connection, and easy access to the battery compartment with no tools needed. The laser is toggled via an ambidextrous button at the back (a button on both sides). The laser can be adjusted via tiny screws at the front with the Allen key, as the included instructions show. The laser is green as advertised, and strong...obviously not a standard low-grade laser. It was easily visible during testing, even in sunlight at various distances. The pics shown are inside in sunlight and one to the other side of the house. If I need another laser of this type, I will get another one from them for sure.

Never even took a shot
After owning the device for 4 months it is junk. Pulled out the laser it doesn't turn on, had to buy new batteries as supplied ones leaked. Got new battery and now Laser blinks rather than steady beam. Definitely not worth the price. Disappointing

Honestly, I bought this with an assumption that you attach and forget about it...
Honestly, I bought this with an assumption that you attach and forget about it...but then I realized that it needed to be sighted. I had a hell of a time trying to move the laser around with the four positioning screws to center this beam. It came to a point where I thought I had broken it. Turns out at least one of the screws I think are no longer threading. But out of some miracle I managed to center it. After a year of it being attached to my pew pew the batteries that came with the unit have given up the ghost. So as for ease of installation I give it a big fat zero and to their credit I believe their instructions came with a warning to go easy on the adjustments. As for the value. It's a genuine laser pointer that attaches to your weapon. The price was right. Granted that you can position it to center. As for the Accuracy. Sure, it works great as long as the screws hold the laser center after recoil. Never did end up taking it out to shoot. So, to be fair. This is unknown.

Laser light didnโt work.
Service was on time and quality of the laser appeared good ; however, the laser light did not work. The batteries were checked and found to be strong but I tried several sets of fresh batteries and the laser still didnโt work. Also, the battery cover was very difficult to open but became more flexible as I changed batteries several times.

Brighter than red
Nice bright green dot , I find it easier to see than my red laser. Used in conjunction with a red dot optic for rapid target acquisition.

[Maybe] Can't handle a 9mm
EDIT: the seller reached out and sent me a new one to test. My first one may have been a dud. I will update after I test it further but in the meantime I didn't want to leave it one one star. I was hoping this would be good value, but unfortunately it can't handle the recoil of a 9mm. I'm not talking about going out of adjustment; every single shot the laser would turn off and need to be manually turned back on. After two trips to the range, it no longer turns on at all. I would suggest to avoid this one.
