Great pie dish

Perfect for a deep pumpkin pie, not too deep that the crust doesn’t cook well . This ceramic pie pan gives you a great slice of pie that does not stick . My pie came cleanly out with each piece , no pie crust stuck and left in pan. Cooked evenly no problems

Avoid sudden temperature changes. do not go directly from fridge to preheated oven. for that reason it is not good for Gluten free crust that relies on refrigeration. gluten free crust stuck horribly so I will spray it next time or use parchment paper. Otherwise it is good for regular pies. Do not soak base overnight as water gets into the unglazed underside of the ceramic. I had no trouble with the sticker so I wonder if others got a copycat product.

I havent even used the pan yet but the glue is taking me 20 minutes to remove and its unbeleivably frustrating. Protip to whoever decided it was a good idea to use professional grade rat trap glue to hold down a piece of paper: choose another job. Never been more annoyed with the packaging of any product. I dont even care if its the greatest pan ever my day has been ruined. I have absolutely no idea why this managed to get by multiple people, has the company even tried to remove it? The glue so far is resistant to: dish soap, steel wool, scotch brite, vodka, metal scrapers, tears, and many curse words. Please Im begging whoever designed this pan: the piece of paper on the inside is not worth it. Just leave it out. Its a pan. It doesnt need a lable.

Nice pan, I scratched up the coating trying to get that sticker off though. I used every sharp implement and oil-based liquid in my house, the only thing that actually worked was scratching at it with my fingernails until the gods finished toying with me and it was smooth.

I fought with the bottom of this dish for easily 20 minutes. I used Goo Gone (usually reserved for automotive and home restoration projects...) on a freaking pie dish! The glue for the label should be revisited on this one, goodcook! If you buy this dish, set aside a day before you need to use it, because you'll be going to battle with this glue. Insanity. Carpal tunnel doctors everywhere rejoice.
