Own 2 of the 128Gb ones. It does say on the back of the case, that is USB 2.0 compatible as well. **Q: What file system does it use?** A: You can format it for any file system. I have used mine with MacOS, Fat32, exFat, etc **Q: do these drives include encryption ?** A: No. These drives come pre-formatted, but they are not encrypted. **Q: Can this drive be password protected?** A: I don't know. The one I received is defective was supposed to be 64 gigs and it's only 32 and out of those 32 about 1 or 2 GB actually are writeable. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap, but very slow write performance *by B***S on 8 May 2025* This review is for a Kingston Kyson 64GB USB stick, priced at under £7 delivered. Supplied in a retail packet, it is of a metal construction, although the metal is quite flimsy, unlike some others of a similar design I own. I doubt this would stand up to too much abuse, such as getting crushed in a tight laptop bag. Tested in a Windows 11 PC and a M4 based Mac, no issues were encountered from a compatibility point of view, and it comes preformatted with FAT32, so easily read by either OS without reformatting. After formatting, capacity is approx 57GB, and H2testw proved the capacity is genuine. My only slight disappointment is the write speeds are quite slow, under 20MBytes/s, nowhere near the claimed 60MB/s. Read speeds nearly matched the claimed 200MB/s at 186MB/s.
