How do I know this is not a knockoff?

I'm not sure - mine smelled like the iconic Oribe line, which is pretty distinctive. That's how I tell, usually. But you'd not know that until you received it. I also see where it's sent from, like if it has the Oribe link to it.

Is this an aerosol or a pump spray?

It’s not an aerosol— it’s a sort of pump that sprays it out in a mist.

I ordered this product and it was just delivered today, but without a cap??? Please advise..

That seems to be a problem with some Oribe products. Two other Oribe items I had to return because of leaking and caps off. This one was okay, though.
