It's just the model number, used to easily identify any parts should a warranty repair be needed.

How long it takes to dry a full wash? Some comments scared me(about 3 hours?)

The countdown does start off at 3 hours but I haven’t really timed it to confirm as the timer adjusts itself depending on the humidity of the clothes inside the drum. We are definitely happy with ours.
