After a short bedding-in period, the pads deliver strong, consistent stopping power — even on long descents and in wet, gritty conditions. The item is excellent, they beat my previous clark clout 1 organic brakes. They are awesome for the price with nearly 4 pairs of brake pads. Right now I can't hear any noise when I'm braking. I don't really see the point of the split pins as you will still have to remove it to put the screw in on the brake caliper to hold the brake pad in place. Overall the item is excellent and simple to install but you gotta watch out for oil and contamination.

Works fine on my bike

I bought 2 boxes of these brake pads. They look good but I am not sure of the quality. They haven't lasted very long. Or, they haven't lasted as long as I would have expected. That is the reason I have only given 3*They are very easy to fit.
