Have had lower back surgery with metal rods & screws in my back. When I say I suffer from back pain this is an understatement. I am constantly searching for products to make my life a little less pain filled. My work entails sitting at a computer all day long every day. Sitting in one position causes stress on my lower back which causes more pain.When I saw this product I knew that I wanted to try this. My Doctor has one much like this that he recommends but I just could never justify the cost of the one he has. I was excited to have found this and more than willing to give it a try.I have been using this cushion for several days for at least 5 + hours at a time. The cushion is firm yet soft. When you sit down on it your weight sinks into the spots where you put the most weight and distributes it evenly. It postures you so that your spine is in line and not slumping. The raised portion on the back of the cushion is where your tail bone sits. Pressure on the tail bone causes so many problems that you aren't aware of until it's too late but I have not had that pain since I started using this cushion.The cushion comes with the black removable cover for easy laundering. The cushion is high quality & solid. Should last a long while. If you sit for long hours at a time I would give this cushion a try. I know that I am very glad that I did!

This is an awesome pillow seat. I usually suffer from back and waist pain so I bought this hoping that it will improve it. I really like that it the curves on the pillow help with keeping you in a better position since you are not on a flat surface. The pillow is thick enough to sit on without feeling like you are hitting the floor. I have been using this pillow in different places since I have taken it to work and at home. One nice thing is that I can use it to lift me in my car since I am only 5'1 tall this pillow helps me sit taller and at the same time do good for my body. The pillow seems like it will also be very easy to keep clean since it does have a nice mesh cover that can be removed for cleaning or you can also throw the whole pillow in the washer too. I live in a hot area of the U.S. so the gel in center keeps it cool and that is a great thing in the car. Another great thing about this pillow is that it also comes with a super soft plush cover which makes it perfect for traveling and you can also use it to rest your head or back on it too. I totally recommend this pillow.

I purchased this for my sister and she received it yesterday. After she had it for a few hours said this seat has changed her life and she never thought she could get so much relief from a seat cushion.. She has severe spine and muscle conditions and at times has to go to bed and curl up and wait for the pain to pass. This made such a difference that she hasn't had to go to bed because of her pain. I went online today to get one for myself as I too have severe back pain but the one I got hers was sold out for now. Because of my severe pain I had bought another seat a few months ago and it has already given out and sitting for awhile my pain is back. I didn't want to wait until Dec.9th for more to be in stock that I am getting a different brand with the same features and I can get it in 2 days free shipping. Fingers crossed I'm hoping that the one I'm getting will do the same for me. Thank you Comfort Cloud for a great seat and Thank you Amazon for getting it to her so fast. Bought this cushion due to discomfort of sitting for long periods of time. I use this on my sofa when watching TV in the evening. It does add a layer of comfort between me and the sofa cushions. I have also used it on my desk chair and there is a really big difference there. Even fully compressed when your sitting on it there is still a softness there especially when used on an office/or other hard surface. This would be great for use on a bleachers at the kids sports games. Very nice well made product. The memory foam keeps this cushion looking like new, just keeps popping back onto shape. Has a little bit of weight to it. Does not feel cheaply made and has all the added details like non-slip bottom. The bonus cover is a very soft plush fabric and also has the non-slip bottom.

Yes it's nonslip. However it does not work comfortably on all chairs. Certain office chair, preferably the large desk chairs, make it difficult to properly align the cushion so that you sit on it correctly.Once I had my office chair switched out, the cushion became a life saver. I can now sit for hours and stand up normal with out sciatic pain or numbing pain on my buttocks. The opening truly takes pressure off the tail bone and sciatic nerve.The cool gel keeps my bottom from sweating and becoming uncomfortable warm.After over a week of use, each time the cushion regains it's shape. Don't leave in your car when it's cold outside. It will take much time to adjust to your weight. When is overly warm out the cushion will be super hot. Use with caution in your car.

Because of all the driving I do during my commute, I was starting to get lower back pain. After reading reviews of multiple seat cushions, I decided to give this a shot. While it worked really well for flat surfaces, it didn't completely fit my Toyota Prius. Because my driver's seat had contoured sides, the seat cushion curved upwards like a taco shell, putting extra pressure on my hamstrings and buttocks. Definitely not comfortable for long periods! Check your car seat before you purchase this. If you're using this for your office chair or any other flat surface, you should be fine.

One of the problems have with my ALS is that I have lost so much muscle mass that I don't have much of a posterior anymore. I am still ambulatory so I'm not confined to a wheelchair yet so I still sit in regular furniture. However sitting all day without any cushion caused a rather nasty callous to form on my tailbone. This pillow helped that callus go away as well as providing me with great comfort. I've been using this for several months and do not sit without it. Is very comfortable and very well made.
