If you had a cesarean, you will use these in the hospital. They are comfortable against your scar area, and fit the extra long pads you'll also be using. I took some home from hospital to tide me over til these arrived.If your surgery is planned, then just order these ahead of time!I'm a normal size small in underwear, but ordered these a size up. In fact, may have been able to go to an L. Bigger = more comfort.Good luck! And congratulations on your little one!

I needed these after running out of the ones I received from the hospital after giving birth. I ordered the same size as the ones I got in the hospital, but these were tighter. I should have gone 1 size up, but they were slightly better quality than the ones from the hospital.

I bought these postpartum underwear thinking they would fit and do like the ones I had at the hospital after having my son, but when I got them and tried them on it was much different material and size was not at all what I expected. Even trying to stretch these underwear it was not the stretchy material. They fit super tight on my thighs and did not go all the way up to be able to place a pad to help support me after postpartum issues. I ordered a size up and there sizes have to be off. The hospital gave me some same size and they were comfortable not these. Did not return due to using two pair and after having surgery I was not able to go out to take anything to have it shipped back to the seller…so it was a loss.

These were great for postpartum! They are very similar to the ones you get in the hospital and are comfy. I suggest getting them!
