Worked like it was supposed to

I got off to a bumpy start. I have an older, 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup, with a Century canopy. When the back widow would barely stay up when opened, I searched for replacement gas struts and could not find anything for "Century", or matching "any of the numbers" on my old gas struts. Subsequently, searching on Amazon, I was able to find a listing for gas struts fitting a "Leer canopy" on the Vepagoo page. The measurements (17") seemed about right, and after a little more researching, decided to go with the 28# gas struts. My problem is when the gas struts arrived, the "socket end clips" were missing, and had not been included. While I was annoyed because parts were missing, I decided to transfer the socket end clips from my old struts. While doing so, I found the thread pitch on my old struts to be different than the thread pitch on the new Vepagoo struts. Even though the threads were different, my old clips were vinyl, and I screwed them on anyway. Because the end clips and threads were different, the fitment was lousy, and I decided to contact Vepagoo to get the correct end clips. I sent an e-mail to customer service, explaining in detail, much like I have done here. On the next working day I was contact by a customer service person named Lisa. Lisa offered to send me not just the missing end clips, but a new pair of replacement struts. No Hassle! She said I did not need to send the old ones back. I sent my first e-mail on 4 Oct, and it is now 10 Oct, 6 days later, and the replacement shocks came. I have them properly installed, and they work perfectly. While it is too soon to say how long they will hold up, I did notice two things that I felt were superior to my old struts; one is the piston rod appeared to be larger diameter, and two, the Vepagoo vinyl socket end cap had what appeared to be a brass metal thread insert. While I would have preferred to have my order shipped correctly the first time around, I am pleased that in the end, I feel I received a quality product, as well as quality customer service. From my experience, I feel that the Vepagoo company has done an excellent job training their customer service representatives, They are also rewarded and lucky to have a quality employee like Lisa in their ranks.

Got 'em quick and they worked great. Handy sliding "C Clips" made snap on mounting very easy. Used on cap/cover on a 2008 Chev Silverado work truck. Now the rear window on the cap lifts up and stays up! Thanks
