I picked this universal remote control over others because it is compatible with my much older devices. This product was a lot smaller than I realized and it came with a manual and the codes for MY Electronic devices. However, the downside for this remote is the code programing was time consuming and it was frustrating trying to find out the correct code for the correct electronic device. But, once I got that figured out the functions on the remote worked correctly. Also, the other downside is it’ll probably get lost because its so small. Other than these two things; I would give it 5 stars because it works great with my older DVD and VCR players, and it is easy enough for my 8 year old to use.

I specifically asked on Amazon when I purchased this if the NUMBER keys control Roku. The worst thing about Roku devices is there are no number keys on the remotes. Phillips answered me and said they did.They DON’T!!!

I have a Philip's TV so I bought a Philips remote. It would not work. I even called Phillips and they walked me through the set up and still didn't work. They said something was wrong with the infra red signal on our TV but not true because all the other controls work from a distance on our original remote except for the volume which is why we needed a replacement. Very disappointed.

Not a very good remote. Buttons are small (hard to see) and they are not backlit. It’s just okay. The remote is really small compared to other remotes. The code set up us weird. It works for all three codes give , but only certain features. So he first code turned the tv on, but nothing else worked (column or channels). The second code the channels worked but nothing else. The third code almost everything works but the sleep timer (which I won’t buy a remote without one), so kind of disappointing. I guess it’s good enough for now, but definitely wouldn’t buy again. I bought two and the one that wasn’t opened.

I like the size and shape of the remote and it handles all of my other devices. However, it is advertised as working with apple tv but does not. I tried the codes, nothing. I went through the long process of scanning for codes, and all it ever did was turn my tv off. It is cheap though, and apple is notorious for being hard to use with other remotes.

I bought this remote because it purportedly had a separate sleep function. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with the sleep function on my 2018 Samsung. YMMV. Otherwise it's feature filled and works fine. I also didn't realize it would be so darn small. I'd almost recommend that this remote be exclusively sold for use by children and the occasional garden gnome, leprechaun, or Santa's elf.

i bought a samsung sound bar that connected to my tv and every time i use the samsung tv remote i would get a not available message on the tv when controlling the volume on the sound bar because the sound is disabled on the samsung tv. this lovely universal remote was samsung ready and has a feature called set as main volume control. so i set my sound bar as the main audio device and it only talks to the sound bar when changing the volume level and not cause the tv to get a not available message.
