First, I don't normally buy products like this because I prefer to use one product for my hair. The beauty of this product is that you can cocktail it with other ones to enhance texture, volume, and grip. I know I'm saying similar things to the marketing package, but this product actually does what it says it's going to do. It really is an incredible invention given the amount of dry grip I feel. Imagine dumping chalk into your hair, you really feel the grip, texture, and momentum of the product. How this works on my hair: I have straight, coarse, Asian hair. It's very difficult to create a customized "spikey" look at the front in the form of a pompadour due to the lack of hold and texture in my natural hair. This product creates amazing hold and texture at my fringe area without making it look artificial like gel. Gel was the only product I could use to maintain my wannabe pompadour style. Now, it's no longer the case. As an aside, if you cocktail this product with the Fiber Pomade, you can reduce frizz in the front areas to create a more polished look.
