Does anybody know how long popcorn will keep and stay warm

Unfortunately , The popcorn doesn't stay hot for very long, in fact, it cools down almost immediately. What I suggest is keep the light on inside so that some of the heat within the popcorn chamber is retained. I bought my pop corn machine back in 2010. It still works perfect ! and makes popcorn just like what you get in the movie theaters.

Are the doors glass or plastic?

The doors are a clear plexyglass but the everything else is glass. I love this popcorn maker. So do our customers.

does this machine come with a scoop?

YES. It comes with a plastic yellow scoop that is also made in the USA by Paragon. It is good quality, and I like it better than the metal ones, as it won't scratch the bottom stainless steel panel and keeps the machine looking good.

Can you pop more than 8oz. at a time?

I generally pop 14-18 ounces of popcorn with no problem. I wouldn't want to do too much more at one time or else you'll get a lot of old maids. The machine itself will definitely hold 2 14 Oz batches, just have to pop them individually.
