These mushrooms are soft and chewable when I followed directions. Flavorful too. The big draw for me is that they are fodmap friendly. Made a great soup and stew with them, and a little goes a long way. Will buy again. Great price point for the amount.

Adds great flavor to a mushroom soup. Just reconstitute in warm water (use the water like stock) Sauté them in butter with cremini and white mushroom's. Add some onion till translucent then some garlic. Mix in a tablespoon of flour cook 5-7 minutes then add Some chicken stock a splash of wine and the reserved porcini water. Simmer on low heat for 40+ minutes if you like it creamy add whole milk or some cream. We made 4qts and finished it all the second day

Mushrooms are not pretty: but these work well for omelet and were very tasty!

I use these on a regular basis for making mushroom farro and risotto and have been satisfied with the taste, packaging and quick delivery whenever I order them. Good product and good seller, remember to rinse them off first before adding the hot water to rehydrate them and then use the steeping liquid in the dish you're making, very flavorful!

Not a fragrant as some, but nice and clean and unbroken
