I brought this as a Christmas present for my friend. I couldn’t tell you if it was good or not, frankly I don’t care. If she re-gifts it to me next Christmas, I’m guessing she didn’t like it.

If could have a $100 for each time Donald Trump has ever used the phrase “Make America Great Again,” I might have been independently wealthy today. But since this is not going to happen, I guess I’m not going to be.The thing is, that as Americans we already know America is already, barring some of the day to day situations we experience, GREAT today. Author Bill O’Neill, in his inimitable way of writing by using trivia, has already shown us why California, Texas and my home state of New York is already great today. And this time he’s directing our attention to the great state of Florida.In each of the six chapters this book contains:1- Florida’s History2- Florida’s Pop Culture3- Florida’s Attractions4- Florida’s Inventions, Ideas and More5- Florida’s Biggest Haunts, Supernatural and Other Weird Facts6- Florida’s SportsMr. O’Neill begins each chapter by taking an item regarding its topic and gives his readers a brief, yet informative description of about it, this is followed by some random facts, which is then culminated by his giving some questions related to the information which the chapter has just given, naturally the answers are given as well.All in all, this book is a wonderful compendium of informational trivia, from the simplistic to the interesting to the amazing, trivia which should be quite interesting to anyone who reads it.So, in the end, with all things consider, for wanting to share the information he’s gathered with everyone who reads it, I’m happy to give Mr. O’Neill the 5 STARS he’s gotten from this reviewer.

This book has me VERY impressed with the facts, while keeping it brief. Enough facts that you'll DEFINITELY want to visit and see EVERYTHING that's in this book. For being "almost" a "tour guide" type book I love it! I thought it was informative, funny, interesting, accurate, and it has me researching my next trip I didn't know I was planning. There's so much to learn and enjoy about Florida in this book. Very well written. I love the "quiz" at the end of chapters. This is not boring type tour guide book, not in the least bit! I Highly recommend this book even if you have no plans to visit. This is an excellent read!!!

This is a good book if you live in Florida or are interested in it. There are a quite a few things in it I didn't know. I have read several of Bill O'Neill's trivia books, and I think the quality is improving. They are now better written and more accurate; I spotted a few factual errors in a couple of the first ones.

I am a Floridian, and The Great Book of Florida: The Crazy History of Florida with Amazing Random Facts & Trivia (A Trivia Nerds Guide) really covers about anything anyone would care to know about our great (and sometimes quirky) state. I worked for Walt Disney World when they opened, in October, 1971, and I learned many new things about Disney. I really enjoyed this e-book, and would highly recommend it to anyone who has any connection with, or interest in Florida.

Some interesting stuff, some incorrect. Lots of punctuation, spelling hours.
