This rain gauge works great, just be sure to bring it inside before winter! Ours froze and cracked. I also added a drop of food coloring in the bottom to make the level easier to see.

Great, simple to use rain gauge. Easy to mount on a post and will last for years, in occasionally freezing rain/temps, such as what we have in central and south-central Texas. I bought a couple extra as the one I have is at least five years old.

I love these rain gauges, SUPER easy to use. Made of plastic, they don't last long enough if you live where there's lots of UV sunshine. And the darn things aren't that cheap either. $2 or $3 worth of plastic product, and I think it was ~$15. But I get the same thing again because they're super simple. Star deduction for the high-ish price.

Great quality. Does not crack in the hot sun or cold weather. Just a personal favorite because I enjoy knowing the rainfall amount in my back yard. Easy to mount.

Works good and help's me track the rain we are getting

I love this rain gauge, it’s the 3rd one I’ve bought. Hail busted them, but they are so easy to read with large numbers and I just replace the new one on the old mount!

I tried to read this rain gauge at night and photograph the level of rain in it but the yellow color makes it really hard to read. I tried holding a manila file folder and other colors behind it to provide a background but those really don't help much. So this is a nice low cost solution and while it is well made it is very hard to read.

I wish they came with higher capacity. During hurricane Harvey I had to empty twice daily. Got 10" total over 3 days.

These are great just need to use a different way to attach them to the fence post. A half inch narrow screw works the best. I put a bit of cheesecloth over the top to keep insects out. Might order some more for the spring.

Es el segundo que compro, porque el primero sufrió un "accidente". Me gusta porque con las lluvias torrenciales que han caído recientemente, al ser para 6", no he tenido, aún, el inconveniente de que se rebose.

Reasonably well made. Was what I expected. That said, the spike or mounting adapter (depending on how you use it) did not fit well. Was way too tight to use in either intended way. Had to use sandpaper and take a bit off the attaching points to make it fit so that one would not break it in the first use. A few minutes of work and it is fine now. For the price, its fine. I'm happy.

It's a rain gauge, read it after it rains to get an idea of how much rain your area got. Delivered quickly just stick it outside and your all set
