I’m not one to get excited over tools (maybe not true, but I digress), but these performed! Let me set the stage: I needed a wire cutter and swage tool to fix two short lengths of wire rope. This wasn't a big job or anything I wanted to spend $hundreds on - but I still wanted something reliable. The value for the price I paid is great; and after fixing the wire on the pins for my hood hold-downs on my Jeep, I did a few other simple projects. Key chains, tool keepers, and a few short lengths for future use - I'm pleased with their performance and with their build quality.

Used when replacing our RV slide out cables. My husband said they worked well and wouldn't have been able to replace our cables without them.

I felt so macho when I pulled this crimping tool out of the shipping box. I’m a 4’11” seventysomething woman gardener who has a great need to crimp sleeves onto wire rope and nobody to help me do it. Instead of bemoaning (like some of my friends do) the fact that I don’t have a man just lying around to help me do things like this, I embrace my own manliness! And owning and wielding this tool makes me feel pretty darned manly! It’s heavy duty, functions as it should, and is a pleasure to work with. I’m not really all that strong (although I am a determined little cuss), and I can do it with this tool.

Great tool. Good for wire up to 3/16 inch diameter. Plenty of smashing/crimping power. The included accessories are helpful and sorted into organized bins.

Got this tool to crimp wire cable to deck cable anchors. Seems to have done a good job crimping; however, I felt the need to require assistance holding the deck anchors & cable together so I could squeeze the crimper closed. I admit I'm not the strongest person in the wold but I feel it shouldn't be that difficult to crimp a 1/8" anchor especially with the size of these crimper. While I was squeezing it together I was shaking & when I go to open it to release crimper they pop open causing the handle to hit my leg or forcing my hand/finger/arm to rub against my watch (causing a few cuts) or even pinch my finger/hand against an object nearby. Again, these crimpers did a great job crimping, but these were a bit more difficult to use than I would have liked. If you're looking for a crimper that does a really good job crimping, these are for you. But, if you want something easier to use, you might want to find something different.
