Levi's Women's 711 Skinny Jeans (Also Available in Plus)

Redoing my review. Levi’s 711’s were the very first Levi’s I ever purchased. I have about 25 different pairs of Levi’s and also lots of shorts now in all different cuts including premiums and some that are 100% cotton. This is what I have learned: not every Levi fit is created equal, 711’s may fit you completely different than wedgies or mile highs or 501’s.You may wear a 28 in one style and a 32 in another. For instance I wear a 28 in mile high, 29 in 711’s and a 30-32 in some of the 501 and premium wedgies. Do not be surprised if one pair of Levi’s fits different than others of the same size. The material and cut can make drastic differences in how they fit your body. Generally if the jeans have a high Lycra/elastane content then you are safe to get your normal size or even size down. 3% elastane means stretchy. Levi’s has something called “hyperstretch” which is a special fabric blend to make jeans super snug and super stretchy. It’s a blend of cotton, Lycra, elastane, polyester and lyocell. Mile highs are almost all hyper stetch. If you buy a pair of Levi’s that are 100% cotton expect that you may need to size up and remember that they will stretch out a size or two naturally with wear. The very high cotton content jeans may seem ridiculous tight at first but they will mold to your body maybe even become baggy. Can even put them on a little damp to speed this process up. Also-THE “R” tag is done purposely. Levi’s has to show that they own the copyright to the red tag itself. As in just that little red tag. It is unique to Levi’s and about every 10-20 pairs they will purposely put an “R” tag to show this. So don’t think they are fake just because you got one of the R pairs. You got a rare pair. They real. Also it does not matter whether the name Levi’s is capitalized or lowercase- It can be either or, I order directly from the Levi’s website all the time and it can be either. Also, only “premium” Levi’s have a leather back patch on the waistband and a quality tag sewn inside, if you buy regular Levi’s they have a cardboard type back patch, no quality tag-they are different. Don’t automatically think u got a fake pair. People just don’t realize this, so they jump to “OMG must be fake”, I did the same once upon a time but now I have enough Levi’s to know. Do your research. 711’s tend to run big in the waist for me, they are very flattering to the hips, I would say they are mid rise. 711’s look great on anyone’s booty, very universally flattering fit but may gap a bit if ur lil in the middle with a big booty. Perfect fit

I got these as part of a try-before-you-buy bag of jeans. I am 5’1 and 105# and have a tiny waist with my weight in my hips and upper thighs. I found the Gold Label Modern Skinny Jeans in 2SHORT were fantastic and stretched to fit my butt and hips but also hugged my waist, which NEVER happens. My whole life things have gapped at my waist in order to fit my hips. So… this particular pair, the 711, gapped at my waist. I really really wanted to like these because they were very soft and I loved the color and they looked great from the front, but when I moved the gap in the back was bothersome. Honestly in the past I would have been thrilled with these but after the Modern Skinnys I wasn’t going to settle. But that’s ok!!!!!! Everyone is shaped different and I’m sure these will fit a lot of people, and they are great jeans! They were a lot more expensive than the Modern Skinnys too, and I couldn’t justify paying that much more for something that didn’t fit as nice, even though I liked some of the color options better.

These Levi’s have become my everyday staple. The fit is super flattering, and the material feels like high-quality denim that holds up over time. The pockets are the perfect size actually functional without adding bulk. They’re comfortable enough for all-day wear but structured enough to look polished. You really can’t go wrong with Levi’s. Consistent sizing, great quality, and timeless style!

I adore these jeans! I would wear them for a week straight if I could. They fit perfectly (I'm a women's size 5 or 6, 120 lbs and 5'5". I purchased these in size 6) on me, like they were tailored onto me. If you're looking for some good and comfortable black ripped jeans, these should absolutely be your choice. If you're on the fence about purchasing them, don't be. The price is well worth it, and this is coming from someone who does not make a lot of money at the moment. The intensely black color of the jeans does fade after machine washing them a couple of times, which would be my only complaint, but they still definitely look black. Maybe slightly charcoaly, but they still work as black jeans. They're my new favorite pair, and I'd highly recommend these to anyone. If you're looking for something distressed, these are fantastic! They aren't extremely distressed, as in there aren't huge rips that run all the way up and down, but they're ripped stylishly and they're ripped well. They definitely do the job for me, having the edgy sense of style that I do.

They fit great, the fabric is good, but they're not white! They're slightly off, but enough that I can't wear a top with white in it! I ordered a 27 short, and they're not short either. The shipment was delayed as well. Disappointed

I love them. I wish I ordered smaller but the clearance was a size bigger so I got a belt out. The waist height is accurate. They are super comfortable. They are stretchy. It is so strange for people to get upset about not fitting into a smaller size … Lycra has changed everyone’s reality of their true size. I am a 4. I can fit into a 0 with room. That doesn’t mean I am really a 0. It means Lycra has taken over the jean world and given people a false sense of size. Because they are skinny they bunch a bit at my ankles so I can wear jeans because I am pretty short. Not the jeans fault. Genetics. I would but again if they go on sale in a smaller size but it was a clearance that I can live with. Try ignoring photos on jeans. Read. Because it says the width of leg opening so complaining to tight on thighs or too big when the information is provided isn’t fair. It says if it is high, mid or low rise on each jean. It says in inseam. And it says Lycra%. If it is 3% Lycra it will fot a lot smaller than 1%. Be realistic. And if low or mid rise (not going to touch your stomach just hips - I would go either way the brand’s size chart and go for hip size. If it sits on my hips the size of my waist is irrelevant. Just some tip. I love this soft material quality. I love it has tags about washing less and saving the water/planet. I still wash before wearing but try to follow the guidelines of less washing. I appreciate companies that care about the environment.

Do NOT bother ordering unless you don’t mind buying expensive jeans with wrong size - I ordered size 29 long and received 29 regular length- so too short- it’s very expensive for not receiving the right length. NOT happy 🤬
