It’s made in China, as I expected. Generally, if a product doesn’t explicitly say it’s made in the USA, it’s not.

yes, hook and hook side blade come sharpened, but can be resharpened if you don't like the type of edge they put on it.

I can’t find any markings indicating where it was made. The Fiskars brand is from Finland, however I don’t know if it was made there. Sorry, I wish I could be of more help.
