Very gentle. It leaves my face feeling clean, but not stripped. Great for everyday use and gentle enough to use with actives like retinol or BHAs.

Just like its name, it's a simple no fuss face wash. It does the job and gets my face clean. It doesn't have a strong smell at all. It does actually soften my skin and leaves it feeling quite moisturized and not stripped which is definitely a plus. I think you get a great amount for the price and for how long it lasts.

It has the quality of a lightweight formula if you are looking for something for sensitive skin and not too harsh on your skin with no scent this is it! A little goes a long way gets really soapy quick and leaves you feeling fresh without redness

This is the best! My acne got so much better once I started using this (I also use a different face scrub). I have really sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate it at all.

Good for oily skin, redness, and hyper-pigmentation as well as bacterial and fungal acne. Works well with my other skincare products. Not bad price-wise either. A single dot, smaller than a dime, lathers nice and is the perfect amount so it'll last a bit. Does not have a noticeable scent. Definitely recommend wetting face and hands before applying to help with the lather. I tried Vanicream previously and it gave me closed comedones after a week and has like no actives so it doesn't do anything for skin. CeraVe products are typically not fungal acne safe and I did get some cystic acne (a common complaint) while using their SA cleanser so I'm avoiding that brand. Stumbled cross this Simple Face Gel and I've been using it for about 10 days and haven't really had an issue. No new spots really and the spots on my chin that had been there prior to use seem to be healing nicely. I really like the feel of it and my face absolutely feels clean after using it. I do a dry oil cleanse before my shower with MCT oil and then wash my face off with this after i get out of the shower. About a day ago I did notice some white heads on my chin, i was able to pop them easily. I did miss my skincare process for a night and have been wearing sunscreen and masks during the day so I don't know that it had anything to do with the product itself per se but definitely don't skip the moisturizing or your skin might produce more oil to compensate for the cleansing. I was using this morning and night for a bit but found my skin getting a little greasy looking by day's end so limiting to night time use and just cleansing with toner in the AM. I'm definitely going to keep using this.

It's really just average, nothing special, and I'm not very satisfied with its ability to remove oil from my face. Even I make it a Bubbles before use.
