I'm working on a project for my airbrush booth, and am making magnetic exhaust hose couplers and these magnets are the perfect size and strength. I wanted black magnets instead of the typical silver These magnets are strong, very strong actually, when attached to each other, it takes a lot of pull to separate them. They have a nice epoxy coating that's not chipping off, seems very durable. The magnets dimensions are pretty spot on, they're also nice and thick. They come with adhesive pads that work very well. I do clean the surface of the magnet and the part I'm attaching it to with some alcohol first to ensure a clean surface. For the price, quality and strength, these magnets are great for my different projects and will continue to buy more as I use these up.

These are very strong and also come with little adhesive strips which is a nice touch. They are packaged much better than most of the generic magnet packs you get. Highly recommended. No sharp edges and they they come with little plastic separators to keep them from being scratched and easy to separate. They are quite large but accurate to description.

They are what they say powerful magnets great size.

The other reviews have me questioning how often others work with magnets or I was lucky. Firstly there is plastic that separates each magnet, but to be honest they are quite a pain with the plastic in-between since it is slick as you slide one off it can cause two magnets to connect bypassing the plastic. Personally I had no issues separating two magnets stuck together. You just slide them and they come apart easily. Breakage? Either others packages were handled rough during shipping or I lucked out on a strong batch. While trial-erroring my project I had them connect to each other, drop on the floor (carpet so that's probably the savior) but still many double connects as I was using them to hold a heavy curtain up. None broke. Strength: You have to figure out the utility. If you're trying to hold something up, but placing the magnet perpendicular to it, you will need a lot more magnets if the object is over 5lbs I would say. However, when the the magnet is parallel to the object position the strength is more. I stacked 3 magnets across a 7ft metal beam to seamlessly hold a blackout curtain up. The magnets had to be on TOP and not on the side; on the side the curtain would immediately fall as stopped holding it. With the magnets on top, well...its been up for 3 weeks with zero issues. Fridge use: yes, or whiteboards for calendars etc... Garage use: yes, from tools to storage jars, when done properly these should last for awhile(easy 10 years) Car: yes, under the hood, extra holder for flashlight, just be mindful of winter weather and how the cold/heat affect magnets long-term.

I have a 15 yr old range hood that has 2 SS baffle filters. The plastic latch on each deteriorated so the front end wouldn’t stay up. New baffle filters were $140 each. So I thought it was worth a try to see if magnets would hold them up. First, I confirmed magnet would stick to my stainless. Then I got the largest size that would fit, and put them inside the hood, along the hood/baffle frame. They were strong enough to keep the filter up pulling thru one layer of stainless (see screwdriver pic). I put two in the front edge, would have been plenty , but since I had 12, I then put another on the inside edge, so used 3 per filter. Definately 3 was overkill, but don’t need the filters crashing down on my induction cooktop. Warning: these are STRONG magnets so when you seperate them- keep them 12” away from each other or they will slam back together. I chipped one corner learning this, but still used it as the magnet was hidden. ALSO, if you separate from each other- and don’t use them all, KEEP THE SPACERS BETWEEN THEM. If you don’t, they will be very difficult to seperate. Yeah, they are that strong. Given the size and weight, they are far stronger than imagined. And saved me $200 by not having to buy new baffle filters.

Most of the magnets were shattered and broken. I only needed 4 magnets in the package so there were 4 intact I was able to use. However, they should not of arrived shattered. I did not do a return because I really needed the 4 magnets and I had paid for express 4 hours or less for the item. I just want to tell others that they should check their item upon arrival for them being broken into pieces. I have a picture showing some of the shattered ones. The magnets themselves are very powerful and will get the job done. I used mine for an emergency refrigerator issue where my gasket demagnetized and Ik wanted to use the magnets temporarily to keep my refrigerator closed until my new replacement magnetic gasket arrives on Tuesday.

These LOVIMAG Bar Magnets are perfect for my application. I have company sheet magnet signage on the side of the Jeep that has weak attraction and peels off from the wind at freeway speeds. I use these magnetic bars to attached along the edges of the sheet sign to hold it in place. The narrow bars are perfect to attach on the edge of the sign and do not interfere with the signage. The black epoxy coating blends super well and the magnets are invisible from a few feet away. Most importantly, they hold the sheet sign in place even through a brush card wash! The magnets are probably too strong for my needs but they are very very strong. The epoxy coating was important as I have had other magnets that have rusted. There are not many bar magnets like this that offer epoxy coating. The adhesive pack is precut to fit perfectly on the magnets, and easy to install which is another nice feature of the product. I am very pleased with the quality of the build and the bargain cost.

Product came packaged very well, nice and tight to prevent any damage. You want strong magnets? These are what you’re looking for. I use them to hold my basswood panel to my metal work platform on my laser engraving machines, does not move at all, very strong and are so strong you really have to work to remove them, but easily removed.

Very powerful for their size. Used half of one to hold my gate closed / stop it rattling in windy weather.

As can be seen in the photo I used them to keep my bits visible and little bit more organized, it keeps them afloat but the bigger items are not staying in their location because the wood in between weakens the flux. So as you can see I put 2 visible to hang bigger parts. I am giving these 5 stars because it was whatever I was expecting. And because I read the reviews before purchase I wanted to clear somethings, These are 3 mm thick bars, you need to be careful to separate them from each other, because the material can break easily, especially these thin ones. Neodymium is not a strong material, coating keeps it together. If you need extra strong you need to go with 5mm thick ones.
