Cracks me up. Haven't even received it yet and ...
Cracks me up. Haven't even received it yet and I'm going to give it 5 stars. Why? Well, I promise to provide an update after I actually get it and use it, but I'm an absolute Snow Peak fan and I'm excited to get a notification that this is finally in stock and ready to ship. Made in Japan = quality in the 21st Century, and I could outfit a small cafe with the titanium goods I own. I even take a 200 ml and a 500 ml (with lid) titanium cup with me on my too-frequent business travel. Flat won't use hotel glassware. The small one is for water or wine, and I use the 500 for my coffee instead of their paper cups. I have an Airstream, and the glassware, as well as my pots and pans, are all Snow Peak titanium. Weighs nothing, won't break, durable and functional. Just can't beat it. You'd think they'd give me a volume discount....

Super and super high quality...
I bought one of these for 20% off, these seasonal holiday coupons are in many places at outfitters... loved it so much bought a second. These are not perfect, but titanium and double wall that can store cold can all day (if prechill in freezer) or drink coffee all morning (again preheat) is perfect. Numb from eegits saying stainless is comparable... steel is NOT titanium it is a false equivalence I can 'taste' stainless steel in my drinks because it has metal smell.

Lightweight and it works!
I debated whether to purchase the more affordable stainless steel version but opted for the titanium model. It's definitely light-weight. I've tried both hot and cold liquids in the Kanpai Bottle and it keeps both extremes of temperature quite well. It's also pretty cool to be able to store a can of soda (or beer!) in the bottle. The only "disadvantage" you would have to consider is storage of two of the three separate lids (Cold, Hot, Drinking Lid) when not in use. Value is a subjective thing. The Snow Peak Titanium Kanpai Bottle, coupled with my Snow Peak Titanium French Press and Solo Cook Set makes for a light-weight (albeit expensive) kitchen. However, there is no doubt I will be enjoying these products for years to come and will most likely be handing them down to my grandchildren when they're old enough to start backpacking.

Incredible Quality, Super Light, All Day Cold or Hot
Incredible quality and design. Keeps drinks hot or cold for a day. Three caps: one for cold, hot, and sipping. Absolutely spectacular manufacturing in double-walled titanium. THE lightest insulated bottle I have ever found. 100% made in Japan like a true samurai sword.

Creates vaccum and does not open
I recently purchased a thermos bottle, and unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. The major flaw I encountered was that once you close the bottle, it expanded the top under heat pressure and became impossible to open. After filling it with hot liquid, the vacuum seal tightened so much that no amount of twisting or force could break it open, leaving me stuck without access to my drink. This defeats the entire purpose of a thermos, which is supposed to be convenient and practical for carrying hot beverages. I tried everything from running the lid under cold water to using tools, but nothing worked. I expected better performance for a product designed to handle heat, but this thermos just became a hassle. I wouldnโt recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable, easy-to-use thermos bottle.

edit- love my thermos
It gets dented easily. It's a beautiful thermos, very wonderful, but it is not tough. When I buy my 2nd thermos i will have to be more careful with it. I'm only giving it 4 stars bc i'm upset it's dented so DONT KEEP IT ON YOUR BACKPACK bc you'll drop your backpack and dent the beautiful thing. I use this bc water, coffee, & tea taste better out of titanium than it does nasty steel- not to save a few grams.

Very expensive toy, nothing more
The bottle itself is of a good quality (just don't put it to dishwasher, read the manual first anyway, it has such warnings all over the instructions). The problems start with the lids... They are just useless and disappointing. I have all sorts of bottles. Klean Kanteen's coffee lids are way too complicated and not reliable and hard to wash, they start leaking after some time. YETI has the best designed coffee lid, very simple construction, very reliable, easy to wash. These Snow Peak lids are just crazy leaky. And it's three (!), where it's really should be just one (maximum two, one separately for cold drinks). And I'd be OK with that, but the price is just killing it...

titanium
Easy finger print and need to be carefully to close the lid but I think it maybe too new!
