Great stuff! I got a Doppler to hear baby's heartbeat on those days where she doesn't move alot, for peace of mind (after almost losing my son a week before he was due, in my last pregnancy. He was inactive and my gut told me something was wrong. His cord was wrapped around his neck 5x with a true knot). I tried using the doppler alone and it would take me a few minutes to find and pick up her heartbeat (I'm 7 months, currently) and I'd also have to press into my belly to get a good reading. My gel just arrived today and I immediately tried it to see if it made a significant difference. It definitely does! I got her heartbeat right away, and it came in crystal clear. This gel isn't sticky and wipes off clean.

I had struggled with my Polar heart rate monitor, specifically with it "hanging up" on a higher pulse, the higher rate not correlating with my pulse oximeter or my manually taking my pulse, I suspect due to signal loss. Well, with just a thin film of this gel on my chest strap, I get readings within a few seconds that correlate with both my oximeter and Lifecycle and manual pulse. Makes sense that the better the connection, the better the data. I highly recommend this for those whose exercise heart rate monitors are having difficulty acquiring an accurate signal. Like I said, it only makes sense that the better the connection, the better the signal.

I rarely need to add gel to pads because I learned long ago that if a pad is still 'reliable', a few drops of water and left uncovered in the fridge for several hours (I do overnight) restores the adhesion. When I do need to refresh one it (usually the large butterfly pads), it does add very good adhesion. And I know it's good because I can't avoid getting some on my fingers and ooooh, yes, it's sticky.

I bought this electrode gel as an add-on for a surprisingly effective TENS unit that I bought as part of a Lightning Deal (Auvon). While my electrode pads are still very new, I decided to give this gel a try to see how it might enhance the experience. This gel, which is very well priced and seems like it will last a long time (I bought a 2-pack), makes application of the pads much easier. While I do not feel they enhance stickiness of the pads, I do think they provide a nice coating that helps with overall adhesion to the skin.

I bought this because someone on the Quell site said they use this gell on the gel strips, replacing the quell gel when it get old. I don’t know how he would do that as this gel does not get firm, it stays pretty soft. I did use it to refresh the pads and clean them off a bit, but then I noticed I was having a skin reaction to it. So waste of money for me, but that might work for others.

This is the best gel. Been buying it for years! It enhances the contact of my eletrodes. I do treadmill stress testing. The container is easy to use and I can easily regulate the small amount I need dispensed for each patch

This product works well when I’m using my portable TENS unit. I only need a little for each pad, and the tube lasts a long time. I’ve used other products but I think this is the best.
