[UPDATE 1/1/2018: the sauce did not eat through the dispenser this time. Capsaicin is what gives hot peppers their heat, so this extract is pure heat with NO FLAVOR, meaning you can add it to ANYTHING and make it spicy without affecting the taste. I usually use it in tomato based pasta sauces, quinoa w veggies, soups (especially asian soups), or curry, but I have also used it in ice cream, which is especially fun to give other people to try because it's so confusing to have spicy ice cream. For one serving of food for myself, I use 2 drops. For an entire big pot of spaghetti sauce, i might use 10 drops. If you don't LOVE spicy food, I would not recommend this, because even 1 single drop is enough to add some heat to an entire bowl of quinoa.
