WILSON NCAA Street Shot Basketballs - 29.5", 28.5", 27.5"

We picked up a few of these Wilson NCAA Street Shot basketballs—one 29.5” for me, a 28.5” for my wife, and a 27.5” for my son—and they’ve been a total hit (or should I say slam dunk?) with the whole family. First impression: the grip is awesome. Right out of the box, the composite cover has a really nice feel—not too slick, not too sticky—and it handles well even on outdoor courts. We mostly play on asphalt and concrete, and this ball holds up really well to street play without wearing down quickly. The bounce is super consistent, and the weight feels true to regulation. We’ve used some cheaper balls that feel hollow or too rubbery—this one is in a different league. You can tell Wilson knows what they're doing. It feels like a ball you’d see in a pickup game or school gym, but built to last outdoors. I also love that it comes in all three sizes. It makes it easy to get the right ball for different ages/skill levels, and we don’t have to argue about “whose ball is better” anymore (huge win for any parent). If you’re looking for a reliable, well-made outdoor basketball that doesn’t break the bank, this is a no-brainer. Just pump it up and you’re ready to go.

Great basketball for casual play and learning! I've been really happy with this WILSON NCAA Street Shot Basketball. It's perfect for neighborhood court sessions and has been ideal for my daughter who's learning the game. The ball has a nice feel and good grip that works well on outdoor courts. Minor inconvenience: was that it arrived needing inflation, though that's understandable for shipping purposes. Once properly inflated, it maintains its shape well and has held up nicely during regular use. A reliable basketball for recreational play or teaching kids the fundamentals, this is a solid choice at a reasonable price point. Definitely recommend!

Not sure I am the best person to rate a basketball as I am not a basketball player. I bought this to shoot around at the neighborhood court to get some exercise. I played basketball as a kid and would have loved to have this ball back then for sure. Maybe this is helpful - it feels like a rubber ball (because it is). It is loud when bounced and it bounces high so any errant shots will get away from you quickly. Its really "grippy" and because its rubber, I doubt that sticky property will go away. I have been playing with it every morning for about 4 days now and it still looks new with only one little nick taken out of it from hitting the edge of the retaining wall that surrounds the court. It looks cool and for the price, it serves my purpose. My guess is that any throw-together outdoor pickup game or driveway player will like it, but if I was playing on a team and we played in a gym, I would definitely look for something else.

I've used this ball a ton in the driveway. Got this one for my youngest daughter going off to university, it's a parting gift but a piece of home for her to take with her.
