I grew up putting daddies sauce on English sausage and bacon like A1 sauce on steak but a little sweeter.

It’s very original flavor I’m buying this again British found a way to make a good sauce!

If you go to a chip shop in Britain and ask for ketchup, they'll look at you as if you just landed from Mars. Every proper Briton knows the only way to eat a chip (a so-called "French fry") is with malt vinegar, or better yet, with Daddies Favourite Brown Sauce. Daddies is a delicious condiment for chips, haggis, sausages, steak, haggis, hamburg, and did I mention haggis? Simply fantastic. The sweet-sour-savory combination of spices is the perfect compliment to even the most flavor-challenged cooking. Put Daddies on an old shoe, and voila! Filet of sole. When my children are doing the cooking, Daddy says, "Pass the Daddies, please!"

American here… An English friend recommended I give this sauce a whirl. Effing delicious! OMG Soooo good! Recommend! It’s like if A1 had a child out of wedlock with some dreamy sauce goddess, this would be it!

after watching the Royle Family on BBC, we had to try it. It has a little kick though it's a typically sweet condiment, like a slightly sour ketchup with bite. Great on burgers in my opinion or chips, ahem fries.

This is a good solid brown sauce. One of the more popular brands in England. This one is less spicy and vinegar tasting than HP SAUCE . So if that’s what you are looking for, this may be for you . I personally think HP is better, but that purely subjective. Daddies comes in a 400mg bottle as opposed to HP ( 255mg ) and Tiptree ( 310 mg) , so you do get more product for your money. All British brown sauces are pretty pricey now a day’s and I’m not sure why ??? My personal favorite for flavor is Tiptree brown sauce!! Pricey but oh so delicious!! Lots of delicious fruit and mild spices in that one. If you don’t mind the higher price, get Tiptree’s it’s truly delicious.
