Tired of tooth pain? I was! I got back from the endodontist and knew I needed more than Advil to feel comfortable for a few days. I had been looking at this before when I was considering a redo of my root canal and it arrived soon after I had the procedure done. Since it can take about a week for pain to subside I rubbed some of this on my tooth and gums with my finger. That worked best. If you apply straight from the tube you are not going to get the cream on the right spot and it will just slip off! I found it numbed the tooth and gums nicely and made the pain go away. You do however need VERY LITTLE of this cream. I found it did numb a little of my tongue on the right side right where the tooth touched the tongue but it was not debilitating or anything. The relief I felt using this was worth the price! I did tend to use this about four times a day and that was enough. But definitely see your dentist if you have tooth pain. Got these overnight delivery for my very inflamed and painful gums. The cream is easy to apply, and gave me fast relief. Directions say 4 times daily. I will be adhering to the directions. I wish my dentist had suggested this cream, but I had to go to the Internet for assistance. I will keep Oragel in my "relief" drawer.

Around the house, we sometimes have an occasional canker sore or some other mouth problem that needs a little bit of attention orOrajel 4X does the trick to deaden those sore spots. I will always have a tube around in order to meet the need and not have to wait for the product to arrive. I should be buying more now since my granddaughter took our unopened package home with her. They always come to grandma and grandpa's to get things that they need and didn't think to buy for themselves. We like having those things available for them.

Orajel, the gel my mom probably used when I was a baby teething. The lotion is better. You can feel where it is in the tube. It stays put when applied. It fights cavity/gum infection by antibiotic properly. It's hard to gripe about cost with tooth pain.
