Perfect Replacement
I recently purchased this replacement sun visor for my Toyota RAV4, and it’s been a perfect solution! The fit was exact, matching my vehicle’s specifications perfectly, which made installation a breeze—no tools or hassle required. Since replacing it, I no longer have to deal with the old visor falling into my view while driving, which was a major annoyance. The build quality feels sturdy, and it functions smoothly, staying in place as needed. Great value and a huge improvement for safe driving. Highly recommend this visor to any RAV4 owner needing a reliable replacement!

Look for the details in the ceiling socket and orient the installing clip appropriately.
It really is pretty nice. Set aside like a good 40 minutes to watch any YouTube videos on how to install. It's REALLY easy but it's also REALLY easy to try and clip it in backwards or oriented the wrong way. Took me a few minutes to actually see the differences in (mounting) the sides and orient myself. But it's a good fit, really good color match.

2012 Toyota Rav4 Sun Visor
I have pictured both old worn out visor and new visor. For easy removal of old sun visor, use a good quality metal trim tool like the Craftsman one I used and reuse the old metal clips from the original visor. Makes installation much easier. This is a good quality aftermarket replacement part and would highly recommend it for others experiencing their visor not staying up.

Keep your OEM metal clips
Feels solid. But you should save the original metal clips and use that one instead. The one they supplied are too flimsy and not even match the OEM parts. Other than that, everything works good so still worth 5 stars. Thanks

A Bad Experience
After some 11 years, the left visor on our 2011 RAV4 no longer stayed up. So I visited Amazon and saw all the positive reviews for the Dasbecan visor which reportedly is compatible with our car. Then I watched the videos on YouTube and decided to purchase the Dasbecan visor. (BTW, I spent about 1 hr viewing videos.)Removing the original advisor was not difficult. The trick is to pry off only the outer shell of the bracket. To do this you must not place your pry bar deeply into the bracket. The outer shell snaps on to a plastic bracket /shelf which holds the visor clips in place. To do pry off the shell, I spent some $8 on pry tools which I ordered from Amazon along with the visor.Though I attempted to install the new visor multiple times it would not click in place. I thought that perhaps the new clips were incompatible with our car so I exchanged the clips. But even then the new visor would not click in place.I consulted with the seller's technical support. One person followed up my request for help, but that person referred me to another person from whom there was no follow up.After waiting two or three days for follow up, I decided to call a Toyota dealer. This problem was not new to the parts department worker. He explained that the correct visor depended on the model, year, and the last eight symbols of the car's VIN.I gave him those numbers and he reported that a new visor would cost $110 and the installation charge would be $50. So we are purchasing an OEM visor and returning the Dasbecan visor.I was looking forward to a fix that would cost only about $50, but it was not meant to be. I spent about four hours on this project before I gave up and looked to my Toyota dealer for a solution. You win some and you lose some!

2006 Toyota RAV4 Driver Side Visor
The media could not be loaded. OVERALL - 9/10 👍 TLDR: Great value. Great fit. Great replacement for my 2006 Toyota Rav4 driver side visor. Ran into a minor issue but solved it.I specifically have a 2006 Toyota RAV4 Limited. My previous visor was loose and not sitting in the position I wanted it to, so I looked for a replacement and found this. I was skeptical about it fitting my car's make, model, and year, but it fits! I know nothing about fixing visors, so it did take me about an hour to replace my visor, but I'd say, for my first time ever, 1 hour is pretty quick. Lol I followed a YouTube video for my car make and model, and that helped me for the most part. I did encounter my own issue, which I will state later in my review, but if you know what you're doing, it'd take like 5 minutes.Pros:- Comes with extra tiny metal clip pieces!! (This saved me because I did drop/lose some of the metal clip pieces into the head liner of my car)- Visor arm is secure and holds the position of the visor where I want it to after installation- Light switch works and turns on as it should after installation- Gray color visor matches my carCons:- The outer shell that came with the replacement would NOT hold the inner section against my headliner, causing the visor to become loose and pop out of the headliner whenever I tried to adjust and move the visor.Explanation: There is an outer shell that covers the inner section with the metal clips. This outer shell will then PUSH against the headliner, holding the inner section in place so that when you move the visor, nothing moves or pops out from the socket. This is what took me an hour because I would push that outer shell and inner section into the socket and against the headliner, think it was snug and tight, only to move the visor itself and it would become loose and pop out.Thankfully, I was able to solve this issue by using my PREVIOUS visor's outer shell. The outer shell is detachable, so I removed my previous outer shell, positioned it in the correct orientation, and pushed it on over the new visor's inner section. It held it in place tightly and didn't budge anymore after that. The only issue with this though is that, that's assuming you didn't damage your previous outer shell while trying to pry it off the headliner. In the YouTube video I watched, the guy was using a flathead screwdriver and damaged the outer shell trying to pry it off. He pretty much bent it in half, dented his headliner, and also cut himself in the process, so make sure you're being safe and using the right tools to remove the visor. You can search on amazon and search for any plastic trim removal tools and those will help you. I used those and it helped me remove my visor without damaging my visor, headliner, or hurting myself. You can watch my videos to see a before, after, and where I was struggling with the outer shell not holding it against the headliner.
