Purchased this to run dehumidifier hose into as I do not have a laundry sink in my basement only an open drain. Works GREAT! Seals the drain line from the outside but allows the water from the dehumidifier to drain out.

Easy to install, as advertised. Works so far and looks like it is built to last. Wish I'd have heard of it years ago.

easy to install, No Problem drainig shower water, i have no standing water issues, the only bad thing is it still passes a little odor out, not as bad as not having it but does not completely block the gas.

Great product. Fits just right to the top of the drain pipe in the basement. No bugs or drain smell. Glad that we gave this product a try.

This worked wonderful for us while it lasted. We bought it in Nov 2018 and in Jan 2020, we started noticing the smell of the drain. For $50+ I expected the product to last much longer. Sometimes "gunk" builds up here and needs to be cleaned to keep the trap operating perfectly. In this case, however, the spring in the trap is just wore out. We are trying the green drain next which is half the cost.
