My dogs have become escape artists lately so I always go outside with them when I let them out in our fenced backyard now. I am usually wearing this blanket and it keeps me toasty warm while I'm outside. I sleep in it almost every night.My first order was black, which is the one my fiance stole from me. I got the deep purple color and I do agree with some of the other reviews that said it looks slightly more blue than purple. Next to something blue it looks purple, but on its own it is more of an indigo color.The black one has ripped about six inches on the top front, making it look more like a v neck. I'm not sure why that happened but I suspect he was pulled on it in his sleep or something. It was the actual fabric that ripped, not a seam coming apart. It doesn't bother him but it is somewhat concerning.My purple one has also come apart about two inches in the middle of the back of the hood where the seam stitching has come undone, but it doesn't bother me and I could easily sew it back up if I wasn't so lazy.Overall, I still love this product and give it 5 stars, but I do worry about the durability since both of ours have rips in them now. It might be a fluke but I would recommend keeping that in mind when purchasing your own.
