I am pretty tech-savvy and am pretty comfortable around electronics, but installing this screen took some real care. The video on the product's Amazon page is very helpful as the printed instructions are awful. However, the screen it comes with didn't match my old screen and so although the video shows to move the front-camera plastic mount over to the new screen, the new screen already has a raised ring to mount the camera and you can't have both otherwise you can't screw back in the metal bracket. But after I was done, the front-facing camera pointed a little up and not straight ahead anymore. Also, when you screw in the old backing to the new screen, the first screw is supposed to go through a metal eyelet that sticks up from the new screen mount, but it was covered up by molded plastic and it took me a while to realize that I needed to punch a hole through the plastic to screw that screw in.After it was installed and put back together, the screen seemed to work fine. But I would notice sometimes the screen would seem to go black for a frame (60th of a second). Also, the touch screen would every once in a while miss my press. So it feels a little cheap.But for the price, it isn't bad. Cheaper than getting a new phone.
