Classic blues harmonica tone
one of the best purchases if you are a harmonica player, the quality and detail of this microphone is simply great, If you want a dark and fat sound, to put through a tube amp, this is your guy. But I also love how it sounds clean, it captures the essence of the electric harmonica very well. And the construction is incredible, it is made to last a lifetime

Sounds great with impedance adapter.
I used an impedance adapter from the start to connect with a guitar amp. Shure brand adapter.

Sounds great
Sounds good running direct through a PA system, but even better through an amp. I run mine through a ZT junior lunchbox and it really gives it that dirty Memphis sound. It is a solid state amp but it sounds like it's coming from a tube amp. Very happy.

Un exelente Microfono, para armonica, tamaño , peso, diseño, etc, demasiado cómodo el agarre, y sobre todo me encanto el tono que tiene y su control de volume.

Excellent sounding and performing Harp Mic from Hohner!
I had come to think that the best tone and performance for a Harp mic came from custom made mics using vintage elements… after purchasing and using the HB52 from Hohner, I’ve changed my thinking… Hohner apparently did their homework and found an excellent “sweet spot” for a Bullet mic that beautifully combines tone (element) with style (vintage look) with size (smaller than traditional bullet mics for easy holding and cupping). I’m impressed at what Hohner has produced for a production mic… I have a collection of vintage and custom made mics and my HB52 is, now, right up there with my best mics! 5 stars across the board!!

Love this mike
I am an intermediate harmonica student who does not play professionally or on a band. I wanted a microphone to practice with and learn how to play harmonica with a microphone. This is the only one I have used but it is great. It is smaller than others I have seen and lighter in weight. It fits in my hands well. I like the location of the volume control.

Sounds Good And Fits My Hands
I haven't completely figured out how to dial in a perfect tone without feedback yet but, so far, I am really liking this harmonica mic. It is a little smaller than a Shure 520DX (Green Bullet) which makes it easier to cup my hands and seal around the harp & mic. I have used it with a Fender Blues Jr. and the B channel of a Quilter Mach 3 guitar amp with good results.
