First off I will mention that I had a really bad coffee habit that was going 20 years strong. I made the decision to kick the coffee habit cold turkey about 2 weeks ago when I realized the cause of many of my recent ailments was due to poor gut health and the coffee would not play a part in healing myself. I read about all of the amazing benefits of drinking Matcha and how it is a healthier replacement for coffee so I decided to give it a try. I new from reading the differences between ceremonial grade and culinary grade, that ceremonial grade would probably be the one I would prefer, even though it is quite a bit more costly. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for in most instances. I chose this Band after reading many of the reviews between all the different brands that Amazon offers. I will say that after day one, I had to read up on different ways to make the perfect Matcha Latte. My first go around was not great, but it wasn't horrible either. I used only cold Almond milk and Matcha for the first serving. The Matcha was not as sweet as I thought it would be from reading the reviews. I am not sure what I expected, but it didn't have much sweetness at all. But on another note, it also was not bitter at all. I would describe it as very smooth and almost flavorless. And it was not as easy as I thought it would be to mix the powder. So on day two, I grabbed the honey, added about a tbls., maybe a little less, and pull out my little electric whisk. This definitely helped add a tab bit of sweetness and the whisk got out most of the clumps and added a nice frothy texture. I also warmed the Almond milk before adding the Match and honey. This helped with blending the Matcha as well. I will say that I made a much better Matcha Latte my second go around. Tomorrow I will definitely be straining the blended Matcha Late before drinking. Because although whisking it vigorously the second time, I still felt some little clumps while drinking, and I can't handle that. There is something about feeling little clumps in a liquid substance that grosses me out.

This is the first ceremonial grade matcha I've tried. I love matcha anything including ice cream 😂 and wanted to try ceremonial grade the traditional way and eliminate the chemicals from teabags. Perfect, exactly how I'd expect a matcha tea to taste. I only used water and a bamboo scoop and bamboo whisk. Turned out perfect! No clumps, tastes light and fresh and leaves that matcha feeling on your tongue after drinking. Very calm but alert feeling after drinking. I would certainly buy again. Worth every penny. If you like plain matcha tea and you're on the fence, buy it!!

I have been drinking Matcha for a very long time. I was looking for a "quick" ceremonial matcha for "on the go days" that is tasty without sugar, blends well with the chasen, is creamy and gives me a nice focused but calm mind- I think this is close enough! Tips: Use teaspoon amount or less, you don't need a lot! Use a chasen (bamboo whisk) right after you pour in the water, even if you're planning on adding milk to make it a latte. Otherwise you still may get "floaties" on the bottom. I still do from time to time, even if I use the whisk. This also is primarily why I give it 4 stars. I hate those clumps! I don't fully enjoy my warm drink when this happens. =( Also the price is too steep to buy all the time. This prevents me from drinking it daily. I have bills to pay people! This was also why I gave a review of 4 stars. But yeh! Save up! Try it! It's good Matcha!!

This is absolutely phenomenal Matcha. I've been drinking coffee/tea almost daily for the past 15 years and I've had my share of matcha before- everything from what Starbucks calls matcha to custom-made matcha in a wooden bowl at a high-end tea shop. This is by far the smoothest, best-tasting matcha green tea I have ever had. I actually have two other types of matcha that I've purchased on Amazon and this blows those out of the water, by a very long margin. The other two I have don't seem to dissolve very well and you get bits of grit at the bottom with those- no matter how you make it. I normally do matcha green tea lattes with almond milk when I use this and pre-mix a bit of matcha prior to steaming- my espresso machine does a really good of mixing the rest. No matter how much I pre-mix the others they all seem to settle out on the bottom- this doesn't. This is super smooth, very mild in flavor and not at all bitter. If you're looking to buy the best Matcha Green Tea powder on Amazon, look no further.

Finally, a quality Matcha. I have tried several "Matcha" tea bags, didn't taste like the Matcha I loved in Starbucks Green Tea Lattes. After a little research found to get a quality Matcha flavor I needed to buy Ceremonial Matcha. After reading reviews for Premium Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder I decided to buy, even though more than I wanted to pay. So glad I did, worth every penny. When the order arrived I followed directions and made my first cup of Matcha tea, a large cup. I savored every sip. I skimmed through the online recipe book, interesting recipes I might try sometime, but for now, a cup of hot Matcha tea is what I want. The company wants to be sure you are happy, I have received several emails, have happily replied letting them know how much I enjoy their product. One email had a recipe for Starbucks Matcha Latte, which I had to make right away. Absolutely wonderful. I've made it several times now found I need less Matcha than the recipe calls for. What a treat. I will definitely buy more.

I don't use this for hot tea. I use it in smoothies and it adds a very good taste. Not bitter or acidic. It's a very fine powder so it mixes well. A great addition to a frozen drink with all ts health benefits and smoother caffeine boost. More of a longer energy boost than a traditional short term caffeine coffee kick. I've used coffee in different forms for smoothies to add flavor and caffeine but always end up with acidic stomach. (might just be me) I was pleasantly surprised not to have that with this tea. I'll definitely buy it again. Packing it in foil inside a tin jar keeps it quite fresh. Overall very happy with this product.

As the title implies, I have tried 4 or 5 other matcha's, and this is the best so far! Ceremonial matcha is the best way to go for drinking. Matcha Organics has a pleasant grassie taste and aroma unlike the other matchas that I have tried. Although it's a couple bucks more, it's worth it! They do from time to time give you a discount code for your next purchase, which I greatly appreciate! The question I have is for coffee drinkers, WHY!?!? Matcha gives you an awesome state of calm mental alertness without the jitters of caffeine. Plus, this stuff is packed with antioxidants! Do yourself a favor and google "health benefits of matcha" and learn all the great things matcha has to offer. Think I'll be sticking with Matcha Organics for a long while. (and I didn't need anything free or discounted for this review)
