My 6 and 4 year old boys love playing with this toy a lot. It was one of their favorite Christmas toys. They absolutely love playing with this toy and have fun together and with me. I got it to teach them about counting, adding and subtracting when they buy items from the store. I replaced the wood cash register that came with it with another register that I found on Amazon that really works like a calculator. My 4 and 6 year olds are learning how to count currency and give exact change. The store came with a few fruits and vegetables. I ordered more canned items and food from Amazon to fill the store. Mostly Melissa and Doug toys. I also purchased a Melissa and Doug shopping cart on Amazon as well to make their grocery shopping and working experience more realistic. This toy is decently made and sturdy for a child’s toy. It is made of plywood but fairly thick. It doesn’t have any pieces that were rough that could cause injury or splinters. It took me about 45 minutes to put together while I was distracted multitasking and on the phone. The directions were pretty easy to follow. Make sure not to tighten all the screws until they all fit into place. All the holes lined up with no issues during assembly. I like the fact that when the kids are too old to play with this that you can either give it away if it’s in great shape or quickly take it apart and throw away the pieces. It’s not bulky plastic. The item was a decent price. I think it could be a little cheaper. I’ve compare other grocery stores and for the price, I liked this one the best. It was well packed and shipped fast. It was not damaged during delivery. The box was still in great shape when it got to me.

Could not be any more adorable! We bought it for our 2yo (going on 5yo) nephew for Christmas. He LOVED it! We all did! So fun! It is an appropriate size for a young child, which also makes it more space efficient. My husband put it together with no issues and all parts/pieces were included (that was a pleasant surprise. The last two toys I purchased were missing parts). The included toy produce is actually great quality! It isn’t that dollar store plastic that dents and crumples under the slightest touch, it has almost a light rubber-like texture to it and doesn’t feel as cheap. We purchased a different toy cash register to go along with it, because I thought he would enjoy one with sound effects and more realistic toy money, but truthfully, the included wooden register, coins, card reader and scanner are so cute and great quality! I’m going to purchase the other version of this for my niece for her 2nd birthday, because I am just beyond thrilled with this brand! Kiddos outgrow toys so fast, we shouldn’t have to spend a fortune on them. Not only is this darling and great quality but the best part, it is reasonably priced! (I purchased on Prime Day, fyi) Don’t hesitate!

I really loved the idea of this product, and the final result looks very cute. However, putting it together was very stressful. The instructions are not very clear about which side goes where, so I had to assemble and disassemble it several times. Doing this with two small kids next to me wanting to play made it even more challenging. Some of the pieces arrived with minor damage on the edges, which I didn’t love since I’m a bit detail-oriented, but it wasn’t bad enough for me to return it. Overall, the finished product is very nice, but the instruction manual definitely needs better design and clearer guidance.

I am giving this item 5 stars for several reasons, the most important being the play value for the cost. This was given as a gift to a household with 2 toddler aged children ranging 3-5 and both enjoy playing with it together and/or separately. It comes with a lot of play food items so it can be fully stocked and ready to play with once it's assembled. I see other reviews noting the assembly had challenges but that was not our experience - it was fairly easy to put together and everything fit smoothly. The size is also great for play areas that don't have a lot of space - it can sit nicely against a wall or in a corner with room to play "behind the counter" still. If you're on the fence, hope this review helps. We think it's great for the price!

I bought this grocery store play station for a birthday present for my toddler. There are multiple shelves labeled C1 that are nearly identical to another shelf that's labeled C2. Ours came with an extra C1 and no C2. The company corrected this immediately. C1 and C2 are identical in size and shape. The only difference is that C2 has a hole it to secure the conveyer belt piece at one end with a plastic bolt. I was able to build the play station by substituting the extra C1 for the C2, but was concerned that my rough playing kids might knock it and get hurt since it wasn't properly secured without that hole for the bolt. The company remedied the issue quickly and my toddler looooves the play station. It's a sturdy toy now and was easy to assemble. It's light enough that I can move it to vacuum and sturdy enough that my toddler couldn't move it if she wanted to. The cash register is solid, as my kid has precipitated a mock robbery of sorts and thrown it across the room multiple times and it still looks and functions properly. It's a great toy with lots of extras.

It's really small! Like a good size for 2-4 year old but too small for over 4. Cash register is heavy and falls off the counter. The " conveyor " belt is too short and hard to crank. Doesn't come with play bills, only wooden coins that could be a choking hazard. I mean, it's cute and my grandkids love it but I had to order an additional shelf to hold more play food.

Very Nice! Our granddaughter loves it! Sturdy and well designed. It takes a little bit to put it together but it’s worth it once complete. The fruit is very life like versus other plastic alternatives. The hand crank conveyer is really pretty cute.

Wonderful purchase! I bought for my 4 and 1.5 year old kiddos for Christmas. The quality is great and really surprised me. It took about 1.5 hours to put together with 2 people. The shelves on the front and sides of the store are great for additional storage for all the play food. It is more spacious than I anticipated. Both my kids can stand in the store. Other reviews were critical of the cash register being very basic but for my kids they prefer it over their electronic cash register. Definitely recommend if you are searching for a good quality grocery store. It was definitely a good deal for price and quality. As long as my kids don’t try to sit on the little food conveyer belt I imagine it lasting for quite a while.
