Honda Rebel 500 2019 installs perfect, will update if any issues. The hardware wood screws look like they won’t hold long so plan on installing a nut and bolt instead like another user suggested. The frame metal appears solid and strong enough I’ll see how it holds up. I like there is additional holes to mount other accessories if desired. Be careful not to strip to OEM M10 Allen hex bolts they are very tight and will strip the hex easily

Heavy duty construction, confused what the second set of holes are for, any ideas?

There were no installation instructions but the photos in the Amazon listing were sufficient to quickly install it. I followed a recommendation in several reviews to use bolt and nut to attach the seat rather than the wood screws provided. Screws would not have lasted very long. Pros: - looks good and seems sturdy - easy to install. Cons: - wood screws are provided to attach the seat. Converting to bolt/nut took more time than the rest of the installation. - trim of bike is black but this product comes with chrome/silver bolts and nuts. Should be black. Touch up paint solves this unnecessary problem. - no installation instructions included in the packaging

Easy and self explanatory install on a 2017 Honda Rebel CMX500. Mine did not come with instructions. so you might have to do some researching if you’re not comfortable. Great for the price though.

Does not fit 2021 Honda rebel 500. False advertisement. The mounting holes doesn’t line up and the instructions to install are inaccurate. Do not buy this junkie poo.

Perfect fit on my 2017 rebel 300, a little tedious but nothing a little patience cant help. Very sturdy.

At first it’s great. But a year later, it broke in 2 different spots. Metal cracked. Never carried anything heavy, either. Just had to purchase a second one. If this one breaks, I’ll be looking for a different item all together.
