I'll start by saying I don't typically write reviews. The chair shipped fine, was excited to receive it. Materials and overall quality seem to be pretty high and I think it's a good looking office chair. However, the back rest that attaches to the seat rest was shipped and received by me with a bar that is completely bent, resulting in the chair-back being crooked and slanted to one side once it has been put together. It doesn't look great and causes anyone sitting in the chair to kind of slide down the side of it. Amazon as usual has been perfectly professional in saying they'll give me a full refund if I ship it back to them. Unfortunately, I no longer have the box it came in and I imagine it will be quite expensive to send back - also the chair base connection to the hydraulic riser doesn't seem to come apart once assembled.VIVA OFFICE - the manufacturer - says in their manual that they offer a parts warranty for 2 years and have been less then helpful in resolving my issue. The customer service person I emailed with multiple pictures suggested I take a hammer and literally knock it in to the place it is supposed to be in (the center). This caused the upholstery surrounding the bar to rip - when all the company had to do was send me a new backrest. I wouldn't buy again from this seller - take more time to test these things in person. There is also no description of what the knobs do on each side of the chair, and as other reviewers have mentioned there is no way to set a reclining angle - it's either all or none. I will probably end up returning this to Amazon and shopping elsewhere.

Nice chair. Looks great. I'd recommend it for light use - its not as ergonomic as I was hoping for extended use. I had some problems with the chair back and seat not matching up and the customer service rep from the company took care of it right away. Great customer service. I do find the seat can tilt to the side a bit if you don't sit smack in the center.

This chair looks very elegant but the bonded leather and seat padding are very hard. I sit for about 1 hour and feel very uncomfortable.
