Love this Clay
I had purchased this product at a local health food market several years ago. When I ran out I was disappointed to find they no longer carried it. I was quite happy to find this online. It's a great product for skin care.

Excellent
I 1st purchased this clay over 10 years ago because it was dry and I could easily choose my custom amenities and, it was hands down the biggest bang for the buck of what was on the shelf. Always meant to try other types when I used this up but after a couple of years, at this rate clearly that wasn’t going to happen any time soon and was a lot better value than I anticipated. I’m not paying for any fancy bloated packaging and shipping (to markets) for the wet stuff. None will go to waste from the various components separating, drying out or one way or another becoming just too nasty looking. And despite some very high volume concoctions, it certainly has lasted me a good long while.I can think of no Cons: for Cosco Green Clay and I’m very glad to find I can replenish my supply, still at reasonable cost and if not my state, at least support the US economy.I do use it only periodically, as a deep clean and rejuvenating facial or drawing poultice. The best thing about this is being simply the dry clay and minerals, it is a natural product with no mysterious ingredients and I choose what to add making it as thick or thin as I please. For a facial mask I mix up a batch with a rose or lavender water or hydrosol and add essential oils such as tee tree, frankincense, litsa cubeba, palmarosa, Bach’s Rescue Remedy, emu and kukui oil in small sealable container vs a single application with too much left over or not enough. If it is too dry for the next use, just add some more of the liquid or add it to the next batch. I kinda like the green aspect; I tend to imagine myself in some ritzy spa whilst lounging on the sofa.If the mask is ‘drying’, well that too is a benefit. It does soak up a lot of oil, and these days my ageing skin needs help to slough off the surface cells. After a good exfoliating scrub my face does not feel overly dry, any moisturizing product is absorbed instead just sitting there on top feeling sticky and greasy and looks a whole lot fresher, tighter, less blotchy and heck; just plain better all around. The best poultice use was not realizing the stinging sensation I was feeling was from being bitten by tiny Fire Ants, until there was a swarm of them scurrying about my ankles, bare feet and toes (and gained a full appreciation for how they got fire in their name.) Another was disturbing at least a dozen wasp nests and counting over 30 stings on my lower legs alone before losing track. In both those painful instances, applying a poultice of this clay reversed the escalating pain situation. And I think it reduced my hypersensitive reaction of grossly swollen limbs itching about drive me insane to around 12 hours where other insect encounters can go on for days before subsiding. Benadryl BTW seemed to have no effect.Oh wait…I can think of one caution. I suggest using an old or at least dark washcloth to wipe off what the rinsing misses.

Great product
This clay is very soothing for my skin. Sometimes I mix it with rose water or put in some Argan oil. When I wash it off my skin feels super clean and smooth. I have had the same container for a long time so it is a great value!
